I'm not one to mince my words, which is why I keep my poems to a bare minimum.
I want to get across my point in the shortest and most tactful way possible.
Maybe it's due to the fact I lose interest quickly in long winded poems (putting that down to my short attention span). I've however had people say my poems are great but leaves them wanting more to chew in to, as their too short. Hopefully I work to find a balance that keeps you all interested.
Then turn of a new a year isn't when I specifically make resolutions (it's a bit of a fad), I agree however it sets a great time to set benchmark, I hope you all can set goals to checkmark and look back at in a year's time to say you accomplished them plus more.
My Goals are to:
1. Compile and submit a collection of poems to publisher's.
2. Use a grammar tool more often.
3. Take control of my finances.
4. Stop being hard on myself.
Wish you all a prosperous and Happy 2000 and forever. 🙌🏽🙌🏽
