This is how I broke my #intermittentfasting yesterday! 😍 I am doing a 16 hour fast, for a few weeks, with one rest day on Sunday's. The first few days are the most challenging for me, then it is a breeze. 💨 🍹Smoothie: beets @lovebeets , orange, banana, frozen strawberries @aldiusa and hemp hearts @navitasorganics 🍽 Plate: spinach, pastured eggs, plain cooked oats, beets @lovebeets , and green onion from a neighbor! 🙏🏻🌞🌱 Right now, I have my black coffee in hand☕(no calories allowed), heading to the chiropractor and then the gym! It is best to strength train while fasting so your body enters catabolism, using stored fat. My workout happens 1 hour before I can break the fasting period, so I don't have to wait to eat after my workout. The caffeine in the coffee really helps me get through. You could also make a straight #reishi mushroom elixir in water or green tea.
Intermittent fasting is NOT a long-term solution to weight-loss or achieving muscle definition.
