This holiday season, as we prepare for fun festivities with family and loved ones, we hope you’ll join us in helping six rescue dogs find loving homes for the holidays.🏡❤️ Russet, Angela, Lotus, Tie, Buttercup, and Tiffany were all once victims of cruelty and neglect—but now they’re graduates of the ASPCA Behavioral Rehabilitation Center (BRC), where they were able to overcome their pasts and learn the skills they need to become beloved pets.
Help us give these sweet animals just what they deserve this holiday season—the chance at having loving homes. These special dogs are looking for homes in the #Asheville, #NorthCarolina, area. For more info, visit aspca.org/news (LINK IN BIO) or call the BRC at (828) 484-7790

Two dogs rescued from cruelty by our Field Investigations and Response (FIR) team have come a long way since their initial rescue last year. And now both Derby and Amber are looking for families in the Fort Collins, Colorado, area who will usher them into the next chapters of their lives—becoming beloved pets. To learn more about adopting either of these special dogs, please visit the Animal House Rescue (@animalhousefc) website, or email their Foster Coordinator at Foster@animalhousehelp.org. #aspca #adoptdontshop

When Hollyhock was brought into the ASPCA in late May 2018 as a stray, she had severely damaged eyes that, sadly, could not be treated. To prevent further discomfort and pain, veterinarians made the difficult decision to remove both eyes. From the beginning, Felicia (a veterinarian at the ASPCA) was actively involved in Hollyhock’s medical care and soon became quite fond of the tiny, blind kitten. Though Hollyhock began to adjust quickly after surgery, she struggled to catch the right adopter’s eye. Felicia then reached out to her husband Dustin (a photographer at the ASPCA) to help get some extra promotion for the special kitty. “I was photographing her for the purpose of promoting her for adoptions, but it didn’t take long to see that she was a special kitten,” Dustin tells us. #2: This year, we’ve supported disaster relief efforts for hurricanes Michael and Florence, as well as the wildfires that have devastated Northern and Southern California.
