First of all, I'm a day late for #internationalyogaday so there's that. Second, I really debated whether this was actually an "Instagram angle" snapshot due to the several inches of untoned stomach that made an appearance. But then I got over the self body shaming.
Yoga has changed my life since I committed to it 6 months ago. I'm actually in love with the practice. I said it best in a FB post during my May 2017 Fitness Challenge at @oranjfitness, but things yoga has taught me are:
1) It's ok to be great at some things and horrible at others.
2) You can find strength even amidst the sweaty-unattractive-frizzy-hair-self.
3) If you cannot control anything else, control your reaction and experience in the moment.
4) It's a long journey, so have fun along the way.
Pull out the mat, focus on your breathing, participate in a class, or just let yourself rest in savasana. It'll be worth it ❤️ #yoga #yogalove #yogaeverydamnday #practicedaily #savasana #downwarddog #positivebodyimage #loveyourself #happinessinthejourney
