Get to know our guest concept artist and designer, Stanley “Artgerm” Lau!

Born and bred in Hong Kong, the multifaceted Stanley Lau, aka Artgerm, wears different hats as an illustrator, designer, concept artist, creative director and co-founder of Imaginary Friends Studios — a world acclaimed digital art studio that produces high quality artworks for the likes of
CAPCOM, DC Comics, Marvel Comics and other giants in the entertainment and gaming industry.

Formally trained in graphic design and advertising, Stanley's art is imbued with a strong sense of aesthetics and visual fluidity. It is a perfect blend of eastern and western art styles. Better known by his handle Artgerm, Stanley's art continues to infect and inspire new generations of artists and his ever-growing fan base around the world. To this date, Stanley's online art gallery on deviantART has been viewed for more than 50 million times and have close to a million followers on social media.
Presently, Stanley and the 2 other partners of IFS (Kendrick & Kai) are running a full-time diploma course in Digital Design & Illustration for aspiring artists worldwide, in collaboration with 3dsense Media School Singapore.

Get to know our guest toy designer and graffiti artist, Quiccs!
Quiccs Maiquez, an Illustrator, Toy Designer, and a Graffiti artist, has his deeply rooted style in his love for the Japanese Robot Culture and Hip-hop Influences since his childhood days.
He has launched a line of his original and custom designer toys under the brand Hidden Fortress, and continues to create them as an independent toy producer since 2012. He has also collaborated with Designer Toy producers from around the world such as Flabslab from Singapore, Martian Toys from New York, and Devil Toys from Hong Kong to come up with Resin, Vinyl, and Action Figures based on his original characters such as "The Ghost of Kurosawa", "Sharko & Remi", and his flagship character, "TEQ63." Quiccs currently co-owns the commercial design firm Burnwater Design Studios. He also represents the international Graffiti crews "Zinc Nite Crew", "Three Flare Krew", and the local artist collective "Pilipinas Street Plan." More of his works at:

Get to know our Cosplay Authority Global Challenge - The CAGE guest cosplayer Haiden Hazard.

Haiden Hazard is an up-and-coming cosplayer who loves anime and comic books but mostly gaming.

She began cosplaying in early 2013 and has loved it ever since. When she was starting, she didn't make every single cosplay she wore. But when she discovered her love for sewing, she then began making all of her costumes and has never stopped!

She is a regular guest at conventions in Southeast Asia where she hosts panels, judges cosplay contests, and meets her fans, among others.
Her skills include, but are not limited to: Touching her nose with her tongue, spray painting, and telling bad jokes!

Get to know our Cosplay Authority Global Challenge - The CAGE guest cosplayer Philip Odango.
Philip Odango is an award-winning artist, designer, producer, director, and actor. With over a decade of experience in directing and producing over two dozen theatre productions, he is known for his costume work with his stage name Canvas Cosplay. He has appeared as a cosplay guest, costume contest judge and panelist, including at San Diego Comic Con, Disney’s D23 Expo, New York Comic Con, and Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo (C2E2). His costumes have been featured in national publications such as The New York Times, The Chicago Tribune, International Business Times UK, Forbes Magazine, and in industry media, including Cosplay Culture Magazine, Cosplay in America, Kotaku and Fashionably Geek.
His award-winning “Doctor Strange" costume was officially featured by Marvel, and he was commissioned to produce a replica prop for Jimmy Kimmel Live show. A seasoned cosplay competition champion, his most recent cosplay of Maui from Disney's Moana won at the Crown Championships of Cosplay in Chicago. He is the official Cosplay Brand Ambassador for Singer Sewing Company.

Get to know our guest comic artist, ALAN QUAH! (Sponsored by Comic Odyssey)
Alan Quah is an artist from Malaysia whose first comics pages were published in a 1984 fanzine, APAzine from Berita Publishing. His work was awarded the best inker of the book by readers of Daniel Chan's Friday comic newspaper.
He received a degree in Advertising in 1992 and opened a design shop in 1997. In 2005, he returned to illustration and was hired by California-based, Comics Conspiracy, to draw the black-and-white series, THE ELDRICH. Later that year, he joined Heroverse to produce an artwork that was titled, ANYWHERE.

In 2006, Alan won the Devil's Due talent search competition; and later that year, he won the 24hr CEDKO Comic Challenge. In 2008, he was chosen into the top 50 finalist in Marvel's CHESTERQUEST.

He founded Komikaki Studio, a comic art and colouring company, which has produced a few projects for DC, MTVN, Top Cow, Capstone, Heroverse, DDP, Webtoon, and Titan Comics.
He has worked for DC Comics' The Vampire Diaries and Legendary Comics' Godzilla: Awakening, a prequel comic to this summer's blockbuster Godzilla and RAGE, a french comic book series by Glyphs Production.
He has also worked on Nike's Footwear Illustrations for Dark Horse Comics, Space Goat Presents Anthology, ShadowGirls, Evil Dead 2, IDW Publishing's Orphan Black, and Titan Comics' Dark Souls mini series.
Currently, he is working on Titan Comics' Quake Champions miniseries based on the gameplay by Bethesda.

Get to know our Cosplay Authority Global Challenge - The CAGE guest cosplayer Jin aka behindinfinity.
Jin (behindinfinity), also known as behindinfinity, has earned an international following through charismatic character portrayal, detailed costume crafting, and cinematic photoshoots that have been featured by countless media outlets. Jin has been invited around the world to judge competitions, meet fans, and hold workshops and panels to share cosplay knowledge.

She is passionate about treating cosplay as an artistic form of expression, and spreading a message of fun and friendship through this hobby.
