The first day we got to Hawaii I thought I was going to do this really cool thing where I tried to get tan, so I didn’t apply sunscreen. I forgot that I’m actually an albino who doesn’t get tan, I just get red, so now I’m absolutely fried and I can’t sleep 🙂

I want to apologize for my lack of food photos on this account over the course of the last few days. I’m in Hawaii and I’m not exactly getting creative in the kitchen. I’ve only made one meal of my own so far and they were banana pancakes *que Jack Johnson* and they honestly could not have looked worse if I tried. I had this meal the night before I left, and it is extremely basic. In attempt to provide you with some semi decent content I’ll tell you how I made my roasted sweet potatoes and carrots. My mom made the chicken so I’m not going to tell you how to make that, because i don’t want to steal her thunder. Maybe another day.
Take your sweet tater and wash it. Scrub scrub scrub, rub a dub dub in the tub (the sink would also be fine) and then dry. Cut it how ever you want and then coat with a little bit of coconut oil, salt and pepper. Place in the oven at 450F for about 30 minutes. 🙂

I thought we were in need of some green on here, and I realized I hadn’t shared my stir fry from last week, so I put two and two together and thus created this post! The stir fry consists of 👉 brown rice, cauliflower rice, peas, shrimp, broccoli, peppers, onions, corn, kale, and that’s all. I tossed everything some coconut aminos and then went to town!! 🤤

Everyday, some people say, that oats make them bloat, but it’s not the same for everyone, you can’t compare yourself to someone. I like oatmeal, more than the color teal. So I’m going to go have some fun, and enjoy my oatmeal in the sun 🌞

Oatmeal deets👉 @bobsredmill oats, 1/2 cup pumpkin purée, riced cauliflower, shredded carrots, 2 scoops @vitalproteins collagen, topped with banana🍌, berries🍓, granola, @kitehillfoods vanilla almond milk yogurt, and peanut butter!

I’ve been thinking, and I really think one of the most underrated things about being on the west coast is the time of day. Just hear me out for a second. So I spend a majority of my time on the east coast, which I’m not sure if you’re familiar with it, but they (they as in the easy coast) operate on EST which is an abbreviation for Eastern Standard Time. Now the West coast operates on PST which stands for Pacific Standard Time. Now you see, PST is 3 hours behind EST. For example, when it’s 9am on the east coast it’s only 6am on the west coast. What I’m saying is, when I wake up at 6am on the west coast, those who live on the east coast have had or are having breakfast. You guys snap your photos, I check my Instagram, and I don’t even have to think about what I want to make!! I have so many options to choose from because of the legends that you all are. So basically I’ve been slaving away for over half the year, working my medium sized brain trying to come up with some creative breakfast ideas and have to have a discussion with myself every morning about what I should make, but if i lived on the west coast, i wouldn’t have to do that. My point is IF YOU LIVE ON THE WEST COAST YOU DONT KNOW HOW GOOD YOU HAVE IT. Okay that’s all pancake deets will be down below have a good day 🙂
Pancake deets 👉 1/2 cup egg whites, 1/2 cup pumpkin purée, 1/3 @birchbenders paleo mix, 1 scoop @vitalproteins collagen, vanilla extract, cinnamon, love. Top with berries 🍓, banana🍌, @kitehillfoods almond yogurt, @purely_elizabeth granola, and peanut butter!

Jk it’s a photo and my dad told me to smile and the sun was in my eyes and I blend in with the building. If you look closely you can see me. Also i have a farmers tan from working out in the fields.

If you guys have been around here since the beginning (even if you weren’t thank you for being here I appreciate you all) but you’ll recognize this meal because it’s really all I eat when I’m at my moms house. Not necessarily since it’s my favorite but because MY MOM HAS LITERALLY NO FOOD IN HER HOUSE AND THIS IS ALL I CAN MAKE. Now don’t get me wrong I love my mother dearly, but she really lacks in the cooking department. I come from a family of foodies, and my mom is one also (she’s part of the family), but she only is when other people are cooking. Therefore she does not keep her house stocked with the goods. She also is able to keep ice cream in her freezer for WEEKS without touching it. I know I know I’m probably adopted because there’s no way I came from her. Good thing she has a nice personality. Okay wow this is a novel I’ll post the breakfast deets down below have a fabulous day🤗

Because things get toasty!
Unlike bread, I am a fan of warm weather, and I’m a big fan of toast. You can just go so much with it. The other day I had 3 pieces because 2 company but 3 is a party and I’m a fan of parties (with good wholesome fun of course). This plate was a 10/10 though and i went with the classic pb and banana combo. I used @mikeys toast, and I topped it with @wildwayoflife banana nut granola! Hope you all have a great day 🤗
