“I’d spent a lot of hours learning the craft and working on my prose, but I didn’t know much about the business of being a writer. I remember hearing that I’d be learning about how to apply for grants and thinking, I’ll never, ever get a grant. I thought my work was too weird and too far out on the margins for someone to want to fund it,” 2016 Arts Innovator Award Recipient Elissa Washuta lamented.
In today's blog, read about how the EDGE Program changed Elissa's perspective toward grant applications and register for our upcoming "Promotion Fundamentals" course, which starts one week from today!
