In #SpacesInBetween#Saudi’s first National Pavilion (@saudipavilion) at @labiennale- visitors encounter Saudi cityscapes, with the history of urban development, architecture, and society mapped in a series of closed spaces imitating its disconnected communities. Made of resin, a petrochemical derivative, mixed with sand, the structures reflect the role of oil in shaping the kingdom’s economic, social, and urban conditions.

The @saudipavilion has been organized under the leadership of @MiskArtInst, and will showcase works by architects Abdulrahman and Turki Gazzaz, founders of @_Bricklab, under the curation of Jawaher Al-Sudairy and Dr. Sumayah Al Solaiman.
