Repost from @itsadayreally - Today is Human Trafficking Awareness Day, designated by the U.S. Senate in 2007. It raises awareness on issue of sexual and labor trafficking. Over 80% of victims in the U.S. come from the U.S, mainly from classified ad sites that posts millions of ads a day. Shout out to the volunteers and organizations who effort to change lives. @itsamonth#humantraffickingawarenessday
Repost from @a21 - #A21 exists to change this. Across the globe we are actively working to reach the vulnerable, rescue the victim, and restore the survivor. Because we believe a world without slavery is possible.
Just learned this morning that the Clayton County Police Department is collecting #ChildSexTrafficking Rescue Bags. Wonderful idea! Are any other law enforcement organizations doing this as well? • • •
