It's cool to have once seen this tree standing, to have rescued some pieces, and now it's this

final sand on my cedar sculpture carved with chainsaw and chisels, three weeks in and three inches deep in wood shavings

spoons and a comb from Hazelnut that I loooove (detail in stories)

detail (biggest one I've made yet) more complicated to carve than I thought it would be 😅

was just trying to organize my scrap bin but I keep getting distracted by pretty scraps !

shaping mismatched maple stool legs, based them off some of my spoon handles

spending all my time making the things I'm currently 'at-the-moment' inspired to make. it takes me all over, but it's fun, and I decided many years ago that I wasn't going to stop myself from meandering aimlessly around in my own brain. here's some maple stool legs in process
