Because it's Monday and I'm suppose to be motivated but I'm sitting on the couch completely unmotivated hanging out with my catπŸ€“πŸ‘΅πŸΌπŸ˜πŸ˜and the rain makes it all that easier to be lazy. And I leave for Mexico soon and I need to go sweat and put in some weeerrkkkk and this was a week ago and I need to reach my goals. And you can't give up or give in when you just don't feel like doing it. April first I tested out my max box jump height and set the goal of adding two plates by the end of the month.

So last night we went and tested out our progress thus far, clearly in the still frame pic I chose, you can see I cleared the height and have room for about 2-3 more plates. β€’

Box jumps are one of those workouts that just get inside of your head. I absolutely am intrigued with the process, especially when I record the act itself. When science and proof through footage are showing you the reality of how high you can jump but yet the fear of your mind.. the fear of falling... the fear of failure.. mentally blocks you from achieving what you know you can.

This is why I love fitness, to mentally see how far you can go, to mentally face your fears, to see the outcomes that self discipline and structure can yield, to believe in your own abilities and to surpass limits that only you have put on yourself. For me it is fascinating to watch this process.

My starting point in itself has already improved, and you can dang sure bet I will land my goal by May 1.😈🌱

-Put your lettuce bowls on a plate
-Heat your 2 servings of beyond meat and 1/2 cup black beans on the stove skillet...no microwavesπŸ™…πŸ»not in my house... no literally I don't have a microwave in my house.
-Put mixture in the lettuce bowls
-Top with shredded carrots(I use a potato peeler) crushed cashews, teriyaki sauce and fresh cilantro!!

Beyond meat is one of the only items in my daily eating that is not certified USDA Organic. **I know I know so many people knock Organic saying the legal requirements ONLY make it a slight bit better...if you know me then YOU KNOW of-couse I'm going to choose a slight bit better!! With a slight bit less chemicals.. with a slight bit better quality.. with a slight bit more of a wholesome process... because if I can be a SLIGHT BIT BETTER than of-course I am going to be!!😈. Why wouldn't you choose to be a slight bit better? It is the littlest of things compounded over time that make the Biggest of differences...so ya USDA ORGANIC is a big one for me.

This is one of the only things I use in my daily routine that is NOT organic and I am looking to change that... My ethics and compassion bring me to the vegan lifestyle BUT it is EQUALLY as important to not compromise the quality of ingredients you consume in making the choice of this lifestyle. So I will be working on my own meat replacement with a high protein content and post that once I get I get it perfected... or..beyond meat PLEASE make a USDA ORGANIC product πŸ˜πŸ™πŸΌβœ¨. Because I really do love your line!!
