β€œLet’s not travel to tick things off lists or collect half hearted semi treasures to be places in dusty drawers in empty rooms. Rather, we’ll travel to find grounds and rooftops and tiny hidden parks, where we’ll sit and dismiss the passing time, spun in the city’s web ’til we’ve surrendered, content to be spent and consumed. I need to feel a place while I’m in it.” - Victoria Erickson

Good morning Bali!!!πŸ–
As you have probably seen on my Insta stories, we have been here for a few days now and have visited temples, Ubud, Kuta Beach, Jimbaran Beach and even seen the fish market bringing in their catch early in the morning 🎣
I have lost count of how far we have walked.. add many steps, humid weather and carrying a toddler and I've done my workout for the day πŸ˜…
I think we are aiming to head to Waterbom Bali today depending on the weather πŸ‘™
Has anyone else been to Bali?
I'd love to hear your favourite activities? πŸ™ŒπŸ»

"Vulnerability is not winning or losing; it’s having the courage to show up and be seen when we have no control over the outcome. Vulnerability is not weakness; it’s our greatest measure of courage". Thank you so much to everyone who sent me a beautiful, kind, thoughtful message. I have read every single message and I am going to get back to each and every one of you..
You took time out of your busy lives to be there for me.. You are all amazing.
I am back and feeling stronger than ever β™₯️

I feel it's time to be brutally honest with you all...
You may have noticed that over the past few months my online presence has somewhat diminished...So tonight I open up my whole heart and tell you why. I prefer this account to be one of positivity, to help other women and mothers to feel empowered and inspired and that they really can accomplish anything they want in this life. However the truth is, is that sometimes we do have days that are incredibly hard, so hard that continuing seems impossible. Sometimes we feel as though we are failing and anxiety and depression can get the better of us.. So here goes...
Today I have been informed of a video that has been posted over many, many Instagram accounts. This video is falsely using my transformation photo as a means to sell their product.
While I have had this happen before, it has never been to this scale. My social media posts have been becoming less and less frequent simply because over the past few months I have dealt with an incredible amount of online bullying. I have had "funny" memes put over my pictures and posted to thousands and thousands of people, I have people write lengthy posts about me on their pages because they don't share the same beliefs or opinion as me and I have had people write comments that attack my character and who I am as a person. Now, I always felt strong enough to not reply, simply, block, report, delete. However after dealing with this for the past 2 years, lately I haven't felt as strong, leaving me crying in the bedroom, trying to regain my strength and move on. I have been trying to do this for some time, therefore have been avoiding social media somewhat. Unfortunately it seems that some people have forgotten that there is a woman, a mother, an actual human being behind this account. What I choose to take out of all of this, is that, these people that do and say these horrible things are not the opinions of the majority. Today my family and all of you have made me realise that. To the numerous beautiful women who have contacted me today and had my back, from the bottom of my heart, I thank you. Your words mean more than you realise x

Apparently someone isn't feeling as enthusiastic about Monday as I am πŸ˜‚
He wanted to dress himself and insisted that you must stand against the wall when you get your photo taken πŸ“Έ
We are about to begin our 45 minutes LISS in our new pram to kick off this Monday morning! πŸ‘Ÿ
If you're overseas and it's still Sunday and you'll be heading to bed soon, make a plan for tomorrow now and set yourself up for a great week! πŸ“β€οΈ

you're everything I ever wanted in a friend.

After Oliver was born, I remember thinking about how grateful I was to the amazing midwives and doctors I had helping me give birth to him... My labour was quite a traumatic event and I lost consciousness shortly after.. However, thanks to them, 5 days later I was able to leave hospital with my beautiful, healthy, baby boy and I was on the mend.. Unfortunately not all mums have the same access to the same services and basic health care that most of us do. That is why my family and members of my extended family have chosen to buy Thankyou nappies and products.
Thankyou donate 100% of their profits to help fund maternal health programs for mums and bubs in need.
You can even "track your impact" by using the tracking ID from the product you purchase on their website.
What an incredible organisation!! You may think you cannot make a difference but you can, no matter how small it is.. β™₯️

Little man was happy to put on a hat, just not a swim shirt 🌞
He then insisted on putting on his own sunscreen... Where did my baby go? 😒 🌊
Anyway! I thought I would tell you a funny story to kick off your Monday!
So! On Saturday I decided to wash my hair.. Now if you have seen the length of my hair you would know that this is quite a task.. Shortly after, I was blowdrying my hair WHEN a massive fireball came out the back of the hairdryer! I'm not talking a spark, I'm talking a fireball people πŸ”₯
Obviously I screamed and threw the hairdryer! Leaving burn marks on our wooden floors 😱
My husband came running and told me I'm lucky I didn't electrocute myself.
So of course this happens on the day I have to go to important events.. πŸ™„
However on the bright side! It was 11 years old so I should be grateful and grateful to still have all the hair on my head.
So that's my story for today πŸ˜‚
Moving on, if anyone knows of an awesome hairdryer, something powerful, please let me know πŸ˜‚
Super excited for this weeks events! So much on! Including a wedding, so this lady will be swapping nikes for heels this weekend!πŸ’ƒπŸ»

Stretching out, doing some yoga, while listening to RnB on my balcony, getting stares from the neighbours.. But you know.. Whatever works for you right? πŸ˜‚
This lady has been plagued by some very nasty headaches the last few days..You know the ones that you go to bed with and still have in the morning, the ones that make you not want to move πŸ˜’
So time to slow down, have a big stretch and reboot for the morning...
Then straight into a busy afternoon.
Remember to look after your mind just as much as your body 🌺
