2018 is poised to be an inflection point in technology. Not just because of all the new innovations and advances, but because more and more consumers are looking for technology infused with humanity that can be used in natural, healthy, and productive ways. That’s why I’m so thrilled to announce the launch of The THRIVE App, available for #GalaxyNote8 users today, in partnership with @SamsungMobileUSA. The THRIVE App helps you take control of your time and your life by making it easy to take a break from your phone. Finding that balance allows you to connect more deeply with yourself, your family and friends, and the world around you. Download it now at the #linkinbio #thrivemode

Remembering the wisdom of Dr. King on #MLKDay! His spirit and courage remain with us today and every day.

Did you know you can complete a project by dropping it? That’s how I completed learning German and becoming a good skier and learning to cook and a host of other things that now no longer have a claim on my attention 🙂. It's so liberating! And it's a great way to let go of projects that are weighing you down but you are not really committed to!

Tag the one person - or the two, or three or more people :) - who are the whole world for you. And because you are the whole world to someone (it could be your child, your parent or your lover) make sure you give them (and not your screens) your full attention!

#TBT to baby @christinahuffington with her godmother #BarbaraWalters at her christening and yes I still have and still wear this dress! #repeats

Forgive yourself for any judgments you are holding against yourself and then forgive your judgments of others. (If Nelson Mandela can do it, we can too). Then look at your life and the day ahead with newness and wonder. Go to my bio for a piece we wrote on lessons from the Gita.

Great evening last night at @the.wing celebrating the publication of #TogetherWeRise about the Women's March, with so many inspiring women. Here with @amberrosetamblyn who helped launch the @timesupnow movement, @cindi_leive who was instrumental in the book’s publication, activist and artist @sarahsophief, artistic director of the @womensmarch @paolamendoza, and @jamiaawilson who wrote the most moving introduction and oral history here with my sister @agapisees. Buy the book! You will love it and the proceeds will go to three grassroots, women-led organizations.

Love this quote from the Bhagavad Gita, the Hindu ancient text — still relevant now more than ever. Go to my bio for a piece we wrote on lessons from the Gita.

Back in snowy New York after last night’s Thrive India launch party at the @stregismumbai where guests hung their thriving New Year’s resolutions on our tree and promised to contribute both their stories of burnout and of how they thrive on our #ThriveIndia platform!

In Mumbai at our Twitter Town Hall with @GulPanag, one of Thrive India’s new role models. I loved what Gul said, that when she gives herself time to recharge, she has greater bandwidth — like going from 2G to 4G. We all made New Years resolutions about our relationship with technology. Hers was to consciously take 30 minutes in the middle of each day away from her phone, and instead of just liking their photos, actually call one friend each day and have a real conversation. What’s YOUR New Year resolution around technology? Swipe right for more pictures from our Twitter Town Hall with my dear friend @MilindDeora who started putting his phone away 30 minutes before he goes to sleep, with our amazing Thrive India partner Rishi Jaitly, and with Minal Bajaj director of the The Jamnalal Bajaj Foundation. Today, #thriveindia was a top trending topic in India — clearly an idea whose time has come.
