Finally finals are over, I definitely felt the sweet release after my 2 hour nap. I pretty much knocked out ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ there's nothing like a refreshing chocolate (hello @livevegansmart, thank you for existing) smoothie bowl to wake me up and get me ready to catch up on vlogmas ! I've been so behind but I'm ready to get crackin. I'm just so excited to not be studying anymore๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ˜Œ hello winter break! To those of you still in the finals process, I'm wishing you the best of luck and sending nothing but positive vibes your way ๐Ÿ’ซ๐Ÿ’ซ

At this time of the quarter, I'm definitely more on the soul food side๐Ÿ˜…the only eye candy I'm reppin are under my eyes๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ (this is not a current picture of me in case you thought this is what I'm looking like lol) but in all seriousness, what does "don't be eye candy, be soul food" mean to you?

Attended a wedding, ate some bomb @califuze vegan catering (you canโ€™t tell, but there was a vegan kbbq option. I know. KBBQ. I was shook too), bomb vegan cookies ๐Ÿช(yes I ate my cookie before I ate my real food cause #balance in the bottom right corner), drove home with my dad, studied from 2 am to 6 am (also ate 3 chocolate chip cookies and a bar of chocolate in between... i think Iโ€™m starting to see a chrend i mean trend), took three finals, and now Iโ€™m taking a break to go to the gym with bae and then back on the grind again ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฝ finals.

Iโ€™m really hoping to get back on my regular schedule of sleep after this cause this random getting hungry at 3 am and sleeping for a couple hours at a time is messing me up๐Ÿ˜ฉ๐Ÿ˜ฉ

I would just like to thank @califuze and all you catering companies who do/offer vegan options at special events. Not only does it help us be well nourished at parties, but also opens the eyes of others to the possibility of delicious food made with zero animal products โ˜บ๏ธ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹

Some might not like it, but I freaking love that people in my family associate veganism/plants/nutrition/health with me. Even if they make jokes, it doesn't phase me because I make just as many about myself and I know that thats their way of communicating/connecting with me ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ embrace your true self, don't take everything so seriously, the jokes will be that much more fun lol

Smoothie bowl in my extra large coconut bowl because it's not December or anything..... ๐Ÿ˜… my cousin/best friend is getting married on Sunday (in another state), got three finals in a row the next day, then more back to back after that, and also vlogmas and also attempting to fit in some hydration ๐Ÿšฐfitness ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธand maybe some sleep ๐Ÿ› *short bout of hyperventilation* all I need is some smoothie bowls for antioxidants alongside coffee aka the life elixir. Who has any awesome motivational quotes you'd like to share? Ya girl could use some!

Me, trying really hard not to shake for the photo after a crazy HIIT session my favorite trainer @jaydperez put me through. It was short but I can't say it was sweet because #death. I'm honestly not sure if it was as crazy as I'm saying or if I'm just so out of the cardio game that it demolished me, but you can try it out and let me know for yourself!

-4 minutes of 10 seconds super f*cking hard, 20 seconds moderate on a bike, treadmill, elliptical, or any cardio move ya got
-4 minutes of 30 seconds on, 10 seconds off of abs (crunches for round 1, leg lifts for round 2 and hollow back for round 3)

I've been so focused on just lifting that the only cardio I've been doing is a 5-10 minute warm up before my sessions and walking to and from class ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ although I don't do nearly as much as I used to, cardiovascular work is so important for your heart and lungs (my lungs are definitely out of shape), stress relief, endorphin release and production, and recovery from heavy weight training sessions. By no means do you have to go do cardio for hours to get those benefits, but small sessions every so often will help keep you in shape ๐Ÿ’ชnow I'm just curious: when doing HIIT, im down for sprints or stairmaster. what do YOU pick as your poison?

Beans, rice, and everything nice (aka guac because guac is all the nice I ever need). We stretched out one chipotle veggie bowl by bringing it home, and splitting it in half with more rice and veggies and beans, which is brilliant if you're craving chipotle (let's be honest, there are some flavors that I canNOT recreate) but u also #staybroke ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜…
