Question of the day: if I could share one message with the world, what would it be? .
It's a message that's been preached for millennia. Something so simple yet so hard for the world to grasp: "Love your neighbor as yourself." (Mark 12:31) Love yourself. Love others the way you love yourself. Love yourself the way you love others. Love
A close second would be "go vegan," but I feel like veganism falls into the first one as well. What would your message be?

Some of you wanted to see the reality of my dinner bowls so here is what my food looks like 99% of the time. Lemme walk you through this because I know this masterpiece is a little too complex for the fancy foodie mind to comprehend: on the bottom we start with greens (I like a baby medley), then I pulled on a brown rice and quinoa mix, black beans, some @bramisnacks lupini beans, half an avocado, nutritional yeast, and ketchup. Bam. That's it. I try to eat really simple most of the time because 1- less effort 2- less money 3- takes less time to make 4- any restaurant food or fun/special foods are that much more special ! #vegan #onthetable #bestofvegan #notactuallybestofvegan probably #worstofvegan #aesthetic #fivestarmeal #masterchef

The week isn't over, so I'll just count it from last Wednesday too: obviously spending time with the bae and helping him make a big move over the weekend, spending time with my mom on Sunday night, celebrating another year of Arsh's life, seeing improvements and small strength progression in my lifts, rediscovering my love for the 99cent store, and my @thrivemkt box arriving with all the chocolate because I definitely needed it esp at this time if u know what I mean 😏😏
one big thing that brought me some subtle joy was that a couple days I didn't post on Instagram and i let go of actually needing to "keep up" every single day. It helped remind me that if I don't feel like posting, I don't need to. giving myself that little break (even just for a day) brought me back to earth and helped me remember to do things because they bring me JOY. Not to say that posting doesn't give me joy but allowing myself to do what I actually feel like doing brings me more joy. #justtypeAthings .

Question of the day: What am I grateful for? (At least 10 things):
1- waking up in a safe, warm bed 🛏
2- a strong, healthy body 🏋️🏻‍♀️
3- my parents, 👨‍👩‍👧who always open up their home to those in need with no expectations of anything in return
4- the peace 🕊and quiet of early mornings
5- my espresso ☕️machine
6- my cousin, for so generously giving me his espresso machine lol
7- and since we're on the topic of my cousin, I'm grateful not only for my amazing family but for the relationship that I have for them and the way they all raised me and shaped me (is that more than one item? Oh well)
8- my selfless, supportive friends 👯who only want the best for me
9- my wonderful amazing handsome hardworking boyfriend/man/King who constantly helps me become a better person💕
10- the opportunity that I have been given by all of you guys to spread veganism, wellness, and self/love. I'm grateful everyday

Today's question: what would make me happy right now? .
This might seem really typical of someone on social media, but to be honest I don’t feel anything less than happy right now. So, I guess nothing more would make me happy since I already am. But I know that on days that I’m not happy, taking a step back and looking at the big picture of my life, and seeing how absolutely blessed I am for all the things In my life lifts my mood a little bit. Being grateful in times of sadness/frustration/anxiety/anger always seems to make those feelings a little less heavy on me because I realize I already have so much to be happy about that I️t wouldnt make sense for one bad thing to negate all those good ones. Question of the day: what do I need more of in my life? .

Rather than particular items (more sleep, chocolate, and the time and space to make as many videos as I possibly could dream of), i think that what I need more are lessons. I need to learn to see life through the eyes of other people rather than my own. I need to learn to say "I love you" more. Apparently this one is harder with people with immediate family members since they see each other so often. I need to learn to say no sometimes, so I can focus on what I truly want and believe. I also need to learn to be more patient-- with myself, with others, and with the process of life✨ what's one thing you currently need in your life?👇🏽👇🏽

Ive been feeling so good adding more whole, plant fats into my diet🥑🥜Energy and hunger spikes are more consistent, food tastes fuller, satiation lasts longer and is more evident, skin is less dry and crackly, all without gaining massive unnecessary amounts of fat on my own body. A couple years ago, i used to support "the fat you eat is the fat you wear" which can be so unhealthy for a young girl/boy/anyone's mindset if they already have a bad relationship with food. As someone who constantly wants to improve especially in aiding people with nutrition and lifestyle, I will be the first to admit that following that advice as the holy grail for all people was not the best thing I could have done. The fact of the matter is, whole plant foods are healing and have so many benefits for your body that the amount of weight an average, healthy person can gain by eating an avocado or handful of walnuts a day pales in comparison to the benefits that these plants can offer. At the same time, just because something works for me doesn't mean it will work for everyone and for you! Tweak your diet occasionally and find out what is best for you and your lifestyle because everyone is unique and has different needs // This burcha muesli by @lonijane has been my obsession and will continue to be for a while. Full of seeds, healthy fats, protein, fiber, vitamins and minerals-- my body has been really happy with it. What has your body been thanking you for lately?
