Gilbert Garcin creates his own little worlds and brings them to life by placing a miniature self portrait version of himself (and often his wife) inside them. The former lamp-seller, who turned to photography only at the age of 65, designs each of his minimalist, surreal and ironical photographs like a theatrical act played out on the obscure stage of life.
Today AnzenbergerGallery presents the photograph “ L'Envol d'Icare (d’après Léonard de Vinci)”, 2002. For further information and prices please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
