The character in black with the beak wants us to tell you me this is the FINAL reminder. If you have an idea or show you want to discuss for May 2019 Anywhere Festival in Sunshine Coast, Noosa or Brisbane, you have to go to and let the festival know by MIDDAY WEDNESDAY 31 OCTOBER. That's pretty soon, but expressing interest isn't too hard.

Brisbane's self proclaimed 10th best comedy group are back and bloody stoked to be performing at #ValleyFiesta 29 -31 August for three dates only after their sold out 2018 @anywherefest shows! But not all is sunshine and daisies friends.
Due to recent economic downturn and inflation, everyone's favourite den of depravity - the Queensland Government - has had to collectively raise the price of Basics to $69 a pop. With riots ready to break out in the streets, the Premier has turned to The Good Time Boys (@agoodtimeboys for the Instagram lovers out there), the natural ambassadors of the people, and asked them present a night of comedy addressing the issue threatening to tear the state apart.

Tix just $5 and you can book at @daily_planet_cafe, 228 Wickham Street, Fortitude Valley

Wed 29 August at 7pm
Thu 30 August at 4.30pm
Friday 31 August at 4.30pm

Presented by The Good TIme Boys, Valley Fiesta and Anywhere Presents

Anywhere now has a presence in Geelong! Thanks to the lovely peeps at @courthouseyoutharts we have a gorgeous place to call home while in Geelong, replete with random surfboard, @paulosuch 's guitar and @alexandersydney's wheels.

Following a critically-acclaimed, sold-out season at 2018’s Anywhere Theatre Festival, (Reviewers Pick and “5 Stars” – Fiona Davey, Reviewer), the blindfolded theatrical experience THE BALLAD OF ROSIE QUINN comes to Valley Fiesta to open a window into Brisbane’s convict past for five performances from 31 August - 2 September. Book at

Pull on your blindfold, and come on a journey to the hellish Moreton Bay Penal Colony, where young convict Rosie Quinn struggles to make a life for herself. A place renowned for its convict brutality, Moreton Bay was home to a small population of women convicts, whose lives were harsh and difficult, and completely dominated by men.

Starring Will Boyd, Samantha Paterson, Reagan Warner, Jo Willans, Aimee Monement and Michael Owen, The Ballad of Rosie Quinn is a mix of campfire ghost story, true crime podcast Casefile, and folk song that will leave your sixth sense tingling.

Presented in the heritage-listed Holy Trinity Hall, Fortitude Valley. “A deeply moving production, with such clever attention to detail in designing a non-visual show, The Ballad of Rosie Quinn is a chilling reflection on our history and the way that we remember it.” – Elise Lawrence, Reviewer

Applications now open for performances of any type anywhere but a theatre Brisbane and Sunshine Coast 2018 @anywherefest.
