The ๐Ÿ–๐Ÿป ingredient components I include on my cheeseboards:
๐Ÿง€: at least three cheeses with different flavors and textures ๐Ÿท: charcuterie like prosciutto and salami
๐Ÿ‡: produce like fresh grapes, carrots, cucumber, and/or dried fruit like apricots
๐Ÿฅ–: a few crackers and/or crostini ๐Ÿฅœ: extras like olives, veggie dip, and nuts

Tag your friend who doesnโ€™t believe in kale because this salad will change their mind. ๐Ÿคฏ
Itโ€™s requested EVERY Thanksgiving (yes, we have kale salads on Thanksgiving in LA). ๐Ÿ˜› The dressing is bright and lemony and the combo of parmesan cheese and bread crumbs take this salad from a Iโ€™ll-force-myself-to-eat-it-because-itโ€™s-good-for-me kale saladย to a there-isnโ€™t-enough kale salad. ๐Ÿ’š
Hereโ€™s how ya make it! ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿป
* 1 bunch lacinato (dinosaur) kale
* juice and zest from 1 lemon
* 1 1/2 Tbsp olive oil
* 1 clove garlic, minced (or use citrus zester!)
* salt and pepper
* 2 Tbsp shredded parmesan
* 2 Tbsp bread crumbs

1. Wash and dry kale.
2. Remove stems and thinly slice. (Into really thin ribbons)
3. Whisk together lemon zest and juice, olive oil and garlic.
4. Season with salt and pepper.
5. Toss dressing with kale and lightly massage until combined. Let sit for at least 15 minutes.
6. Sprinkle parmesan and bread crumbs over salad and serve.
