Currently healing my soul...

We’ve been doing cave and waterfall hopping here in MP, discovering the richest biodiversity!
The place of sunshine, but the sun can take a break for a while too! .
Dhoopgarh is one of the most off beat destinations you can go to in Madhya Pradesh. Being the highest point of the Satpura range, it had to attract me there 😂 .

I could walk miles for beautiful architecture; luckily didn’t have to walk that much for this one...
.
Made entirely of stone and only the inner walls plastered, the Protestant Church is one the most beautiful things I saw here in Madhya Pradesh 😍
And isn’t there something about old colonial architecture that’s really appealing? .
I could sit here, read a book under a tree while the church kept me company; go inside and admire the setting when it pours, and have a nice whole day spent over the weekend just attending myself 😍 .
Don’t you think churches have that vibe? .

The fog makes me feel like a surprise is waiting for me at the other end 😍
.
Feeling like I’m reliving an episode from some Discovery Indian travel show
Do you know the smell of good weather? I’m pretty sure I do, after being here
Madhya Pradesh has some of the historically and environmentally most significant spots to explore, and when you’re doing so, you feel like you’ve definitely done something good to be treated by nature like this 💕
.
Walked up this path through the mist to reach the mysterious caves where saw taking a meditation break for at least 2 days, the echoing sounds of the birds and the rain drops hitting the leaves, the wind making them rustle, and the fog greeting us a welcome...
Just the #HeartOfIndia talking 😍

I think everybody enjoys a good waterfall, and Madhya Pradesh has them in abundance! kid you not 😍
.
Ever Since I’ve been here, I feel like I’m in a rainforest, like the ones they’re described us in our school books. Heavy rains, green trees, and waterfalls to make it even better. .
I’ve been seeing absolutely amazing sights, which are honestly very new to me given my usual preferences, but this trip to MP will definitely be the highlight of my year! .

Reminding me of the mountains, and nothing makes me feel better 😍 .
Driving through miles of the greenest trees being washed by the coldest monsoons, refreshing the air around me and also my mental insides 💕 .
Did you know driving from place to place in Madhya Pradesh is always a delight because it shows you sights, you don’t know what you did right in your life. .
This was the famous Satpura Tiger Reserve (saw no tigers unfortunately...) and we drove from there to Pachmarhi where I’m currently dreaming getting back on these roads for the fresh air no AC can give me 😍
.
And monsoons are just 😍 (especially when you’re not in Delhi 😂)

Lakes are really an icing on the cake aren’t they? .
This was the view from where I was staying yesterday 😍
Wouldn’t you love walking up to this? Or just having this in front of you the entire day? So much more than just a warm welcome, #HeartOfIndia really winning my heart 💕
.
This is the Tawa Resort, if you’re around and looking for a place to stay, I would highly recommend it. @mptourism doesn’t disappoint 😍

There is nothing better than arriving to a lake, on the mountains or on the plains and specially one in Madhya Pradesh 😍
.
After a short flight from Delhi I reached Bhopal to find the weather gods finally having mercy on me, which was a relief, and just sheer beauty of the landscapes! .
The view from the plane when I was landing only got me so excited to get out and exploring!
My itinerary for today was Bhopal-Tawa-Madai, and the drive was so beautiful, through the forests with the greenest trees, monsoon winds and a slight drizzle, I hardly noticed the journey having my head out of the window like a dog the entire time 😂
.
I’m now in Madai after a full day’s excursion, with the greenest surroundings I’ve ever seen! Gives me so much comfort being here, especially coming from a city. And did I tell you how monsoons make everything better? 😍 .

Looking back at memories from Leh...
Everything looks good during a sunset, it’s the most beautiful time of the day 😍
You see different palettes of shades casting over the mountains that basically look like giant sand dunes, with a sky so dramatic, giving you glimpses of sunlight, casting shadows of clouds the sun hides behind time and again, the temperature decreases, you hear the winds more crisply, and experience a whole new kind of quiet which is so hard to describe, but so easy to lose yourself to! .
I’m currently in Delhi headed off to see #HindustanKaDil in Madhya Pradesh and extremely excited about capturing all the amazing historic architecture and possibly get my hands on some wildlife shots too! .
Where all do you think I should visit in Madhya Pradesh? Help me plan my itinerary 🙋🏼‍♂

I do not like very sunny days 🤦🏼‍♂
.
It’s not difficult to take a good picture when the sun is going bananas, but it’s not satisfying either. .
A dramatic sky with the sun peaking through the clouds or a nice view of the valley early in the morning just takes you on cloud 9 😍 .
We were going to Demul from a new route when we came across this tiny steep path going down from the road; which we later got to know was a trek and a shortcut to Kaza! .
We went down here for a while when I saw this rock overlooking the valley and I had to go and stand on it 😂 (because some people are too scared @brindasharmaa) .

Last but not the least, drone week Day 7 with a #viewfromabove. .
Just another day seeing something extremely beautiful and being in a pickle about wether or not I should fly my drone given its low battery and probably 2 minutes of recording possible 😂 .
I feel like I’ve either had hardly any battery throughout my trip or I just get too excited seeing something 😂 .
We were going to Hanle and we had left Leh at a reasonable time (reasonable enough to reach Hanle before sunset) without keeping in account our unplanned photo stops 😂 .
When you’re driving to a place you haven’t been to before, you have no idea about how beautiful it could be or if you would get good shots ahead, so instead you stop everywhere you can just in case 😂
That is how my drone was always almost discharged when I really really wanted to take something 🤦🏼‍♂️
.
Drone week ends here! What other weeks do you think I should do? Comment below and we’ll start a new week soon 😍 .

Drone week Day 6 and another #viewfromabove 😍
.
Did you know trying to fly a drone over a lake is quite scary? 😂 (Especially if you’ve had so many accidents before)
.
I knew exactly the kind of shots I wanted to take with the drone over he Dal Lake and as soon as we reached hurriedly from Gulmarg trying to catch the sunrise, I realised that it wasn’t going to be an easy task. .
One, we needed a flat surface (which was easy, you could fly it off the boat) and two if we’re flying it off the boat it’s going to be tricky bringing it down.
So we asked our guy to take us to a safer place, a stationary boat, much bigger than a Shikara, with a lot more space and stability to offer. I got off and sent the boat away while I tried my best with the opportunity. .
Ah the things you do for the perfect shot 😂 .

New routes, new excitement, and a beautiful #viewfromabove! Drone week Day 5! 💕
.
I have never in my entire life seen a route this untouched, and this peaceful. Being anywhere in Leh makes you feel like you’ve entered another universe. You see how nature has so much to offer, and you sometimes feel like that was how the earth was meant to be when it was created. .
We left from Leh after a confusing set of events after which we decided to go to Hanle. We originally wanted to go from Pangong from another route, but our permit wouldn’t have allowed that; so we went back to Leh, waited another day for a new permit. .
If it would usually take 3-4 hours to complete a route, it would take us 6-7 because we would stop almost anywhere and everywhere 😂
All along the way, our minds run at 300 km per hour about where what kind of shot would look good. That coupled with the constant battle to get the footage before the batteries run out, is quite fun 😂
.
.
What is the most beautiful place you’ve visited? 😍 .
