Day 1 - Day 53
PATIENCE. PERSISTENCE. HARD WORK.
I’ve learned a lot about myself these past few months. Starting from literal rock bottom was not easy. In fact, it was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do in my entire life. I was at a point in my life where I had nobody but myself. I was depressed, dealing with anxiety, and as you can see by the pictures, very unhealthy. I weighed 370lbs at day one (I know how embarrassing). I knew if I didn’t make a change I would be dead by 40. What was once a scary thought became my reality. The first and hardest part is accepting that you have issues - both MENTAL AND PHYSICAL. Next is to fix those issues by going all in on yourself, focusing on personal growth, doing the things that make you happy, meeting new people, going out and having fun. Once you can become mentally healthy, becoming physically healthy is that much easier. So my advice to anyone wanting to make a drastic change in their life is - go hit rock bottom, deal with your shit all alone, try and see the light at the end of the tunnel, do things that make you happy, go out and have fun, and most importantly, eat clean and exercise. I’m nowhere near where I want to be. But I’ve learned how to love the process so I don’t care how long it takes. All it takes is focus. If I can do it, you sure as hell can!
