It’s mental health awareness week so let’s fuckin talk about it!! 1 in 4 people experience mental health problems so why is there so much stigma surrounding it?? The negative associations of mental illness is seriously damaging.
I struggled with chronic depression and anxiety for years with no treatment because I was too afraid to reach out.
Reaching out for support can be the hardest thing to do, but will be the best for your recovery. I’ve been in recovery for almost 2 years and I’m still learning but making progress at my own pace.
P.s yes as the pic says recovery isn’t linear, it’s full of ups and downs, leaps and baby steps and that’s ok!
If you’re struggling please know you’re not alone no matter how much you believe you are!
Also a lil reminder from me to you to always be kind to others and support the people in your life who may need it 💛
Thnx for coming to my ted talk
