It's not only about hair,it's about racist prejudice that still exists in places where it should be eradicated.

Even though what is happening at my school isn't only about hair but the main topic of discussion starts with prejudice about our hair.

They teach us about "entitlement" yet when we black queens👑 take "entitlement" of our natural hair they say we should let go of it. WE are tired of being told what and what not to do with our hair when they don't know a thing about it to start with.

Rather educate yourselves about our hair and why we comb our afro up and the size of our braids and what we tie it with and try to accommodate it in the code of conduct, then you can teach us about "entitlement".✊ Listen to India Arie-I'm not my hair🎤she speaks about the struggles of black hair and how the only thing that really matters is what's in our soul, minds and spirit.📚 #stopracismatpretoriagirlshigh
