Anyways people, I need essays, from economics* too philosophy.
*economics essays will take me longer because I'm still doing a lot of research on it. Currently reading on PDF economics and ethics of private property by Hoppe, reading in paper "the essential Keynes" as a collection of his best works, and Barron's Economics books for college students, soon to be listening to "the Thomas sowell reader" and ordering the scholars edition of Human action by Ludwig Von Mises himself. Plus on philosophy, "the law" by Fredric is coming in on Monday

(This is an old compass and unrelated). To all of my followers who think property is theft I have a public service announcement for you. Let us use the common feudal arguments. You say that the landlords would control the peoples entire life much like they did in the feudal system, this shows one of two things; ignorance of the feudal system or ignorance of property. Assuming it's the former let us examine it. The peasant farmer OWNED land before conquest and warlords came through trying to conquer other areas. The king, or prince, then gave legal rights to the feudal kings in their jurisdiction granting them to control the land of the peasants. After this phenomena they were tied to the land, unable to move from it without the threat of persecution from others. If one doesn't pay or supply his goods to The Lord he was promptly executed. If the landlord did not receive payment to deny him the right to live on his property, which he obtained by himself, not at the expense of others. So than who is the rightful owner of the land? Who is he stealing from? If property is owned, how is it theft? There are only three ways property can be obtained --cultivation of previously unused land, voluntary exchange, and inheritance-- which is not theft from anyone. Private property is often put to most productive use when put into people's hands to do what he or she must do with property, while public or governmental property often has an inverse effect, lowering productivity. Plus property is often used by people jointly and together, this is most commonly seen through factories, production, and good relationships between people. So answer my question, how is property theft?

I have given up my title as anarcho-capitalist, and you should too. You should give up your name of anarcho-socialist/communist as well. During this rant, PSA, whatever you may call it, I won't down play the importance of a stateless society, or the importance of voluntary interactions, I will however be pointing out the meaningless identification as such. Capitalists should give up their name Inasmuch as the idea is simply impossible in such a way that 'capital' would be less circulatory and numerous, making wages harder to pay (unless the median of exchange would be something else that is quite common, this however being incredibly inflationary) workers and guardians of central property. I do believe property is important, especially private property, but creating a system where property is simply guarded by one is ineffective. We can not stop, in any society, the creation of communal or individualistic property, however enforcement would be difficult in either. Essay will be up on my theory of property shortly. We should also give up this name in that the most successful capitalist countries the smallest of governments have become bloated beyond possible revitalization of what it once was, just look at the United States. The first capitalist also was a strict believer in the birth of equality trough markets, this is impossible, given his own theory of the division of labor, but it should not be taken for granted. What measures would either type of society use to prevent public or private tyrannies? How could one stop the violation of the sovereign individual or his sovereign property? Are goals have been disproving each others ideals, rather than fighting the state, in the process we have degraded ourselves into a group where political fragmentation runs rampart and we are no longer focused on our one true goal. I do not believe in a collective society would work, still, but my beliefs in capitalism are slipping granted the current position of the world; I do believe however we must fight the state as one, and abolish these labels that divide us.

(This is from 2012). One thing that I've noticed many people avoid is the problem of rural poverty. This stems from many things such as the inability to draw business to their underpopulated areas, the inability to create their own jobs, a high amount are on food stamps and some sort of welfare, they are too far to make it a wise choice for good schooling, roads are poorly built and don't have enough resources to travel anywhere. Granted due to the fact that things often cost less in these states, as a result of lower inflation. But they are unable to get there by any means because of the reasons I mentioned above. The lack of schooling makes them less likely to get a job and get then put of poverty. However you see in large city/suburban wealth is large in these states so don't use that as an argument against red states policies. Maybe if they had access to private schools and could grow and sell crops of their own accord it would allow them to produce more wealth, but sadly government has failed again in solving poverty.

So comrades, your objection to anarchi capitalism is based on many different arguments, but perhaps the most infuriating is the "natural monopoly" argument. I would like proof of this occurrence, I would like an example of how a monopoly was formed in the free market. Is this so much to ask? Monopoly, historically speaking, has been a result of varying government policies ranging from protectionism, bailouts, and subsides.the argument that eventually one producer would be able to reach a production level so high that he could out compete any other one is a simple impossibility. This is mostly due to the lack of patents, the lack of coercion, the lack of government intervention in the market where producers can benefit the economy by producing at mass volume thus increasing the standard of living. Or the fact that one can obtain enough capital to buy off several industries without collapsing in on itself. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

The way that I see it, the individual above all others is sovereign; he is the end to himself, he is a free man, he is free to acts as he may as long as he doesn't impose upon the sovereignty of another. When the collective is in charge, either the majority or the group as a whole, you are identifying it as it's own entity with powers of a group. It, however, is not a a sovereign entity as it is not real. When you give an entity this much power, or the means of production, it becomes powerful, it allows for it too exercise power over an individual. As Mill puts it, the only time power is justifiable over a person is when they are taking the sovereignty of another away. If this entity, which does not formally exist is now given the means of production, it controls the economic life of each and every member of said collective. The economic life of the individual is simply how he obtains the goods they need and the want that they satisfy, when you control such a thing you control the people; you establish a group of people more powerful than others. (This is excluding the forceful extraction of private property and the means of production, which the collective thinks they have a right too). Now we look at the demoralization that occurs. Say for example that the collective is place higher than the individual, people simply become the means to a greater end --the collective-- which is simply not how it is. You lose the incentive for work, you lose the work ethic and the aura of self responsibility that is bound to flourish in an individualistic society. You constantly allow for force over non violent individuals, which is a crime in and of itself. I can hear the opposition now, but even in a libertarian socialist(anarchists included) world you still have the exercise of power over everyone who is nonviolent and the people as means to the collective end, which is not only an act of aggression, but if the collective exercising power over another is just than it has become a state like entity. Sorry for the short length of this essay, I have been busy.

Some light philosophical reading for my evening. I picked these up recently but I was waiting till I finished road to serfdom and rereading 1984. I really need to read more economics book, but they seem to dwindle at the end of my reading list as of now, but for now philosophy will have to do. I might have a short essay out tomorrow about the ethics and failures of collectivism, depends on how I can shift my schedule around.

The feudal system was also a result of regional kingdoms who offered protection in return for judgeship and protection (government), if you paid almost all of your earnings to them and the higher ups. Not to mention the land in which was given to the nobles and the lords was given by the king and princes. They were protected by military vassals, or knights, that served The Lord. Saying that anarcho capitalism is neo-feudalism is heavily misguided. Not only was serfdom achieved because of lack of private property rights, granted to the rich (much like today, huh), but they were denied rights in general, but in this society quite the opposite is to occur where everyone can achieve land, reach wealth, travel, love who you want, buy what you want with out ones permission. Now I do think that there is a step from here to there where education and the preservation of property would have to be taken so that as a reactionary movement this does not start again.

#equalisticgiveaway I could speak on any number of things that plague American society, this much is clear, but in my eyes the root to the problem is deterioration of intellectualism in this country. Firstly this could be brought upon by any number of things, public schooling, intellectual regression, risky lifestyles, media, and the general lack of interest. Because of these things what we have seen is a frighting loss of intellectualism seen, the effect of this is a bunch of mindless zombies that simply go one way or the other depending on what their told. Public schooling as being indoctrination of sorts teaches kids from a young age that doing extra, or trying hard is anti productive, and when a person does well or is nice they reward it as if to bring gratification to them immediately to make them feel special. Studies have shown such tactics harm the kids development in the success in life, entitlement, and the loss of the work ethic. This is also brought by parenting techniques because it is now deemed unacceptable to raise a child as if it were it's own self and you have to coddle to the baby for the entire life up until 8, at least. Media is also a factor, shoving false information in our faces, which the average person is to lazy to check. It is a sad reflection that the history channel has no historical backing to many of it's shows and people eat it up as if to distract them from really issues. I won't mention anything on IQ but the average IQ is dropping especially in more liberal states which has led to more violence and people are unaware of the effects of big government so they beg for more. #media#school#government#libertarian#anarchy#individualist#conservative#liberal#democrat#conservative#indoctrination

Along this road we ride,
Eagerly and fast
The days run slim before
We reach our very end
It's a long road built by lies, propaganda, and force
It's the road to serfdom
We bring it upon ourselves
We comply, we won't defy
The lords point the sword to our necks
The king laughs in his oval castle
We ask them for protection;
Protection from our fears
May democracy mold the state;
Our death day comes!
Here we work, till the soil
Exploit the serfs, steal the products of their labor
Monopolization of eternal judgeship, and The Lord is always right
Monopolization over the land, upheld with murder and coercion
The lords pull the strings of the eager king
Use the knights to fulfill their violent agenda
Serfs waste away, forgotten numbers, forgotten servants
Public execution, the names of the lowly slaves are left to rot
Left to bury their sorry souls
Liberty, freedom, natural rights
For their death was slow and filled with agony
Limb by limb
It's the road to serfdom
Here we are, serfs lie in a pool of blood and fear
Kiss the boots of the almighty lord
His slimy face cracks an evil smile
But he promised he would protect us, but now we live in fear
At his mercy, the grip of his hand strangles me
More start to die, so we cling to the almighty lord
Serfs kiss his boot waiting for his protection, his eternal judgeship
It's the road to serfdom
Compete with other lords,
As if our extortion is better than theirs
Ruled by secret vassals who serve whole hearted allegiance to The Lord
Used as military tools of The Lord
Used as eager pawns
Knights of valor, looked up to as symbols for freedom and safety
Never knowing they're coercing the serfs
It's the road to serfdom
Consult the almighty lord for anything and everything
Serfs bow to thee
Loss of the natural state of man
Marriage, travel, whatever the freedom be
Extracted, regulated, controlled by the almighty lord
You kiss his shined boots
Beg him for protection from yourselves
No self respect, no fucking hope, afraid and confused
Now our death day come!
