I had a few false starts on projects the past couple weekends but I finally finished something! 🎉
I got this beautiful navy and green floral Italian fabric in Rome a few weeks ago. It's a very fine, soft, lightweight cotton - very Liberty-esque but a bit drapier. I initially wanted to make a maxi skirt with it, but it ended up being just a few inches too short to make that work (#tallgirlproblems).
I decided to make a #yaletownblouse instead since I've made it twice before and know it's perfect for showcasing special fabrics. As an added bonus, the fabric sticks to itself just the slightest bit so the wrap stays closed with no extra effort! And the best part is, I'll think of Italy every time I wear it. 💙💚 #fabricisthebestsouvenir #sewing #sewaholicpatterns
