Good morning!! 🌸😆 I woke up this morning a felt GREAT!! I’ve noticed over the past few weeks, my sleep has been “le crappy💩”. Partly because I fall asleep on the couch with the tv on ALL THE TIME, or I’d sit on instagram or Facebook until I pass out and drop my phone on my face 🤦🏼♀️
When you look at your phone, leave the tv on or stream Netflix on your computer right before bed, your brain doesn’t clue in that it’s nighttime because electronic devices have blue and white lights, that when exposed to them at night, prevent our brains from releasing melatonin, the hormone that tells our bodies it’s night time 🌙
This means, your chances of getting the deep sleep you need to wake up feeling well rested are lowered, and you may also take longer to fall asleep! 😴
What I am working on...
1. Putting my phone down at least a half hour before bed
2. Turning off the tv earlier so I can be more social or read a book instead 📚
