Hey hi everyone!! I am so sorry I’ve been slacking on posting the last few days! 😫Life has just gotten busy and I needed time to catch up!! 🏃🏼♀️ which is something I wanted to talk about quick!
When I get overwhelmed, I tend to just stress out, think of the worst possible scenario and just dwell on everything! I’ve always been like this and I used to use that as an excuse not to change that habit! But that is NO excuse and I decided a while ago to actively work on how I handle stress!
I began journaling! I write every night about my day, my struggles, my triumphs and my goals! I reestablish my goals every night and set small goals to keep my motivation up!
I do my best not to sweat the small stuff! If something small seems like a big deal, chances are your building it up to be much worse in your head and freaking yourself out for no reason. When this happens, I question it! I pull apart all the layers of what if’s I’ve built up around it, until it’s nothing but a silly problem that I can now let go!
I breathe!! When I get overwhelmed sometimes I feel the need to panic and do everything all at once. When this happens, I step back, breathe and write down everything I need to do and plan it out. Because if I rush and try to do everything, chances are, somethings going to get messed up.
Everyone gets stressed out from time to time! It’s how we deal with stress that can influence how the rest of our day will go! 🤗 so don’t worry, be happy and have an AMAZING evening!!! 😆
