Ive been absolutely killing my workouts lately and really focusing on my mind muscle connection, as well, taking every single set RIGHT to failure! Hey hi everyone!! I am so sorry Iโ€™ve been slacking on posting the last few days! ๐Ÿ˜ซLife has just gotten busy and I needed time to catch up!! ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ which is something I wanted to talk about quick!

When I get overwhelmed, I tend to just stress out, think of the worst possible scenario and just dwell on everything! Iโ€™ve always been like this and I used to use that as an excuse not to change that habit! But that is NO excuse and I decided a while ago to actively work on how I handle stress!

I began journaling! I write every night about my day, my struggles, my triumphs and my goals! I reestablish my goals every night and set small goals to keep my motivation up!

I do my best not to sweat the small stuff! If something small seems like a big deal, chances are your building it up to be much worse in your head and freaking yourself out for no reason. When this happens, I question it! I pull apart all the layers of what ifโ€™s Iโ€™ve built up around it, until itโ€™s nothing but a silly problem that I can now let go!

I breathe!! When I get overwhelmed sometimes I feel the need to panic and do everything all at once. When this happens, I step back, breathe and write down everything I need to do and plan it out. Because if I rush and try to do everything, chances are, somethings going to get messed up.
Everyone gets stressed out from time to time! Itโ€™s how we deal with stress that can influence how the rest of our day will go! ๐Ÿค— so donโ€™t worry, be happy and have an AMAZING evening!!! ๐Ÿ˜†

Being positive, raising your self esteem, increasing confidence and changing your outlook on life will lead to consistent happiness. Find what works for you and be consistent. Results donโ€™t happen over night, so remind yourself everyday that even though you canโ€™t see it right now, you WILL be there soon! ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป๐Ÿ˜Š

Working out, to ME, is about stepping away from everything crazy in my day, and focusing on myself. I donโ€™t care about what my hair looks like and I donโ€™t put make up on. I donโ€™t care if my outfit looks perfect! And I really donโ€™t care if anyone has a problem with that. Iโ€™m there to focus on my physic, my mentality and my goals. I donโ€™t think women should EVER feel pressure to look perfect in the gym. When you look in the mirror, you shouldnโ€™t see anything except a strong, powerful and BADASS version of yourself! ๐Ÿ˜ˆ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป

Good morning!! ๐ŸŒธ๐Ÿ˜† I woke up this morning a felt GREAT!! Iโ€™ve noticed over the past few weeks, my sleep has been โ€œle crappy๐Ÿ’ฉโ€. Partly because I fall asleep on the couch with the tv on ALL THE TIME, or Iโ€™d sit on instagram or Facebook until I pass out and drop my phone on my face ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ

When you look at your phone, leave the tv on or stream Netflix on your computer right before bed, your brain doesnโ€™t clue in that itโ€™s nighttime because electronic devices have blue and white lights, that when exposed to them at night, prevent our brains from releasing melatonin, the hormone that tells our bodies itโ€™s night time ๐ŸŒ™
This means, your chances of getting the deep sleep you need to wake up feeling well rested are lowered, and you may also take longer to fall asleep! ๐Ÿ˜ด

What I am working on...
1. Putting my phone down at least a half hour before bed
2. Turning off the tv earlier so I can be more social or read a book instead ๐Ÿ“š
