I remember watching F1 for the first time on tv and it was the Malaysian GP at the time (1999, i was 12 years old). The race was won by Ferrari with Eddie Irvine and I quickly became a fan ever since, Michael Schumacher won here the following year. It actually sparked my love and passion towards the automotive industry. They're calling it the F1NALE but I'm sure F1 will be back in Malaysia (hopefully before my time is up). I also remember going to the Sepang Circuit for the first time in 2007 following a trip organized by the automotive faculty of UniKL MFI (sat at the F Grandstand). For now, I'm praying hard for the Scuderia Ferrari team to have a 1-2 podium even with the odds against us (being that Kimi Räikkönen qualified P2 and Sebastian Vettel didn't have a qualifying time and will be starting at the last position P20). Plus, the constructor's title this year is almost impossible (Ferrari is 72 points behind Mercedes with only 6 races to go). Nevertheless, I shall enjoy this race and treasure it. Make sure to come back here dear F1, and make it as soon as possible.
Luckily MotoGP will still be around for their Malaysian GP.
