Wouldn't be a Saturday morning without a #parkrun πŸ€—. Feeling very coordinated although I do miss wearing all black πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ. A week today until my first #triathlon 😬!!

Back from my amazing holiday to Marrakech and feeling GOOOOD 😌. Before I left, I had a message from someone asking me about self-confidence so I thought I'd do a short(ish) post about it. β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’
In this picture there is at least 5 things I don't like about my body BUT there is also 100 things I love. 99.9% of people will feel insecure about some part of their body (yes, a made up fact but probs true) - regardless of what you see on instagram, it is NOT real life, you only see the best bits (there are plenty of bad pics my bf attempted to take before getting this one).

There isn't a given answer to 'how can I be more confident in my body' but you just have to realise what amazing things it's capable of. Stop looking at the things you don't like and concentrate on the things you do. A very productive day in the the beautiful weather 🌞. Started my day with #parkrun @ Pomphrey Hill. I then went straight for my first ever open water swimming lesson πŸŠπŸΌβ€β™€οΈ. It was harder than I thought but I enjoyed trying something new and it's given me an idea of what I've got ahead of me. Ordered a tri-suit this afternoon so this silly #triathlon idea is quickly becoming reality - 2 weeks until the race!! If anyone has competed in a triathlon before I'd love some tips πŸ™‹πŸΌ. P.s. Let's hope this weather stays forever 🌞🌞🌞

You will not completely lose progress from taking 1 or 2 weeks off πŸ™…πŸΌ I've lost a bit of definition compared to when I was working out every day but it'll come back (I hope). This morning consisted of lane swimming, followed by brunch, work and now a core session with @sprintfitness1 πŸ€—. It kinda dawned on me today that I'm actually a terrible swimmer and I probably won't even complete the #triathlon cos I'll have to be rescued from the water - I literally had to stop every 50m today πŸ˜….

Was gonna post a fitness picture from a couple of weeks ago but tbh I've done nothing recently. It's been my last week at uni ever (so sad 😒). I've been drinking, not sleeping properly and not exercising and that's okay πŸ’πŸΌ it's so easy to get obsessed with exercise (& I am guilty of this a lot of the time). So just a reminder that it's OKAY to have fun, go out til 5am, drink, eat a hungover Wagamamas and not feel bad about it one bit πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€. So here's a *non-fitness picture* of me at my last day at uni. Since being back I've done one core session, I'm off swimming in the morning and about to do an abs session now ✨ should probably get back into a routine considering I have a triathlon in 3 weeks, lol πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ

A sunnier day @ #parkrun on Saturday, what's with all the rain now πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ. Today I cycled to and from work - I've done this for like 3 weeks now and the novelty wore off after about 2 days πŸ™„. Haven't done any resistance workouts in around 2 weeks and I was seriously missing it - just did week 11 BBG abs and it was a killerπŸ’€might attempt the #12weekchallenge again at some point so I've got some focus πŸƒπŸΌβ€β™€οΈ(or just so I can put off #triathlon training)

A small sign of abs even after an awful day of drinking/eating Sunday, still no boobs though πŸ™ƒ. I have still been parkrunning & I've literally been forced to cycle to work everyday since my car broke last week & it's actually the best way to train for the #triathlon in July 🚴.

A. Big. Fat. Sweaty. Mess but this weeks #parkrun is complete πŸ‘πŸΌ. I did not enjoy today ONE bit, it was so muggy and hot and windy and gross πŸ˜’ but it's done now πŸ™ŒπŸΌ. Joined by my sister as we both entered for a #triathlon πŸŠπŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸš΄πŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸƒπŸΌβ€β™€οΈin July so using parkrun as our training for the running leg (it's only a sprint triathlon so not a long distance to run). I think the people in 🍊 in the background were part of a couch to 5k group which is cool, I know so many people who have got into parkrun this way. Anyway, hope you other #parkrunners enjoyed your runs this morning πŸƒπŸΌ πŸƒπŸΌβ€β™€οΈ!!

One day I might choose something different on the menu but for now it's poached eggs, πŸ₯‘ & sourdough again πŸ™‹πŸΌ. Slowly but surely making my way around all the best breakfast places in Bristol & today was @brewcc - it lived up to expectations πŸ™ŒπŸΌ

In light of everyone else's #10secondtransformation - here's mine πŸ€— I appreciate I don't look particularly bad in the second photo but just to show that no-one walks around with abs 24/7, lighting and posing make ALL the difference πŸ‘πŸΌ.
