#10WeeksOut Prep 2017 vs. Prep 2018 ⬅️⬅️ SWIPE
Always remember how far you’ve come.
Progress-wise, this prep has felt like a slower start than in the past.
My body was a bit slower to respond at first - at least it’s felt that way to me.
But then I look back at my check-in pictures from my previous preps...
and I see this.
Just like that, I check myself.
I put things in perspective.
I remind myself why I do what I do and why I love the constant self-development & growth that is competing.
This sport, and the fitness industry in general, can alter your perception of yourself at times.
I doubt myself sometimes,
I have bad days,
I get frustrated & impatient for progress just like the next person.
But the key is as simple as this:
Just because you feel more negative on one particular day,
doesn’t mean you don’t have the power within you to shift your mindset back to a positive place.
YOU control your perception of yourself,
and YOU control your mindset and your true potential in your pursuit of your goals.
YOU have the power to CHOOSE positivity,
and focus on the passions that drive you to live the life you lead.
Recognize your accomplishments,
appreciate your growth,
and stay hungry for an even better future.
Put your head down and put in the work...and the results will come.
Be your own motivation.
