For some reason I can’t find majority of my pup pics of Shai but I do have this gem 😍. And since we’re on the subject of baby Shai Shai why not tell the story on how she came into our lives?! — I was living in a house (renting a room) with Zoe, my trusty sidekick ha. We had 3 other roommates at the time. I was working at a small veterinary clinic that was undergoing some construction. One of the guys who worked on the place knew I had a pit bull and repeatedly told me about his new litter of pups (accidental litter, which we later fixed both mom and dad). I kept telling him no, I didn’t need any pups. When the pups were a little over 2 months he was bringing them in for vaccines and he only had two left - Shai and her brother. She was diagnosed with demodex mange at that appointment. He kept trying to get me to take a pup and I would laugh and tell him no. On the next visit, I started to cave. I found out he was keeping the brother and Shai still didn’t have a home. She was such a funny looking pit bull & now she had mange so I kept thinking nobody was gonna want her lol. He did the usual and was asking me if I wanted her. He told me he’d give her to me because he knew I’d give her a good home and would continue treatment for her. Weeeeellll.. I caved. & here we are 4 1/2 years later! So glad I brought that funny looking puppy home 😉💜. Love my Shai girl!
