Pulled out my best mid century look for ‘The Last Local Beach Club’ at Schooners @schoonerspcb in Panama City Beach last Friday! •••••••••••••••••••••••••
New cat eye glasses from @goggles4u! And I was so excited to finally wear my new to me matching pineapple brooch and clip-on earrings set! I got it this last autumn and I’ve been patiently waiting for a hint of summer to put them on. 😊

I know it’s Wednesday but hi! It’s been a rough couple days, post holiday let down and all that but I still wanted to check in for a little teacup chat! 😊
-First off, I got a new springy teacup in cute historic St. Andrews in Panama City. I love how delicate the pattern is. •

-Yes my outfit is a bit boring but it’s cold here and I didn’t feel like changing for the picture, so there’s a slice of real life for you haha! •

-Finished The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls. Thoroughly enjoyed and definitely recommend! Although I wish the ending had been more fleshed out, I’m nosy and want to know more about the family presently haha. •

- @redbox still had The Glass Castle film, so I watched that Monday. It seemed to gloss over the extreme poverty and hunger of their situation and focused more on the nuances of their family dynamics but I love Woody Harrelson and it was a good watch. •

-Saw @7daysinentebbe last night! Love Daniel Brühl ever since his role in Rush. I enjoyed the film and it seemed to have most of the elements needed to have a tension filled crisis film but it fell short for me. It wanted to be Argo, it could’ve been Argo but it wasn’t. Yummy 70s costumes and interesting usage of modern dance juxtaposed with action shots are certainly reasons to go see the film though. •

-Also, two trailers stood out to me. Finding Your Feet! 😍🇬🇧Incredible British actors Timothy Spall, Imelda Staunton, Joanna Lumley. Finding love later in life British rom-com, I am there!!! •

-Tully 😍A beautiful, insightful, realistic look at motherhood. So hard to put into words how it made me feel but it’s going to be a good one. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Anything happening with you guys!? Let’s chat ❤️☕️

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!!!!!! 🍀☘️🍀☘️🍀☘️🍀☘️🍀
Yes this is from last year but my one woman parade will be out in full force today!! Have a great day everyone!!! ☘️

On Tuesday I voluntarily boarded a vessel manned by pirates and lived to tell the tale! On the fearsome @piratecruisepcb there was swashbuckling, swabbing the deck, and even a bit of treasure! Surprisingly, no one walked the plank! ☠️
One of my favourite moments of the trip was when we pushed away from the dock to the rousing soundtrack from Pirates of the Caribbean! I love the pirates theme and that just made me absolutely giddy! •••••••••••••••••••••••••••
It’s been quite windy here in Panama City Beach so the trip was cold but there plenty of activities to occupy the children as well as some enclosed areas of the ship to keep them warm and uncomplaining (otherwise we might’ve had a plank walking 😉). They had a great time watergun fighting, getting their face painted (you can see a bit of my gruesome ☠️ tattoo as well 😁), having a deck dance party, glimpsing dolphins, as well as the myriad of other activities I mentioned earlier! •••••••••••••••••••••••••
If you have kids or are just a pirate at heart, I’d definitely recommend @piratecruisepcb (Not a sponsored post by the way, just had a really great time) ☠️

Happy Teacup Tuesday from Panama City Beach, Florida.
1. It’s so windy and cold!!!!!! 2. Rediscovered the song ‘The Pirates Who Don’t Do Anything’ by Reliant K 😂😂😂Such a fun and silly song. 🎶
3. Took a @piratecruisepcb pirate cruise today- dressed up of course!! Saw dolphins, got a fierce tattoo, uncovered buried treasure, and sang countless rounds of #yohoyohoapirateslifeforme! ☠️
4. I woke up at 6:45 this morning and took a peaceful walk out on the pier and watched the sunrise.
5. Hoping to find time to visit the Goodwill outlet store in Panama City. Has anyone ever ‘shopped the bins’ before? Nothing is sorted, it’s pay by the pound, and you really have to dig for your treasures. 😁
6. Oh and last week I saw Red Sparrow and Game Night. Game Night was hilarious!
What have you been up to lately?

I don’t think I can ever let St. David’s Day pass by without sharing this photo! Cymru Am Byth- Wales Forever! ••••••••••••••••••••••••
Today has been a lovely Welsh day filled with belting the national anthem around the house, making and devouring Welsh cakes, and partaking of Welsh rarebit for dinner. I love my adopted country so much. Thanks always to my Welsh professor @thosgreentaylor for showing me the magic of the language and country! •••••••••••••••••••••••••
Check out my story to see some snippets of my St. David’s Day adventures in Cardiff last year!

Happy TEACUP TUESDAY!!!! Sorry for the all caps, it’s just been ages- January 9th to be precise, since we’ve had our little Tuesday chat! If you’re new here, I talk about all sorts of random going ons and things I’m thinking about and then you let me know how you are in the comments! 😊
First up- @moviepass!!! If you love going to the movies, get yourself one of these stat! I have seen so many films this year already, it’s so much fun! I can see one film a day at any time and since I’ve paid for the whole year it doesn’t matter if the movie is a dud. •

2nd- Goodbye Stranger by Supertramp and You Can Call Me Al by Paul Simon have been on repeat this week. 🎶

3rd- I have a great story about seeing I, Tonya last week hehe! It was the last day in the cinema and a late 10:35pm showing. I took a wee nap beforehand, I know- rookie mistake, and woke up at 10:45. I decided I still wanted to see it because it had won a @costumeawards and went anyways knowing I’d miss the first bit of the film. Well I walk into the showing and no one is there. So I went back to the manager and decided there was no harm in asking right 🤷‍♀️😁- if they would restart the movie for me hahahahaha. For the record, I have never done this before. They looked at the time and they looked at the other films times and said why not 🙌😂😁 yes!!!!! Of course there was a bit of a hiccup when the computer program froze and he said he could try to reboot it but last time the theatre wouldn’t play the film afterwards. I was feeling lucky so far so I said, let’s chance it. And it rebooted and I got to have my own private screening, hahahahaha! The power of being kind and just asking my friends! •••••••••••••••••••••
So what’s been going on in your lives! Leave a comment below and let’s chat! 😘

This is one of my all-time favourite sweaters I’ve picked up from @goodwillheart! I found it last Spring so it had to wait awhile in the closet but it’s now in frequent rotation while the weather is cold! ••••••••••••••••••••••••••
I think the chunky collar is one of its best features. It looks as if I could take it off and it would still hold its shape haha. And I love that the pattern is just at the top here. I did worry that the colour scheme was a bit Christmasy but I just tell myself that it’s the colours of the Italian flag and I’m on a ski holiday in Italy 🇮🇹😁
The fur hat has been waiting in my collection for a wintery exhibition for years! I picked it up at an estate sale in Fort Worth hoping that one day I’d have a photoshoot as a Russian princess. I don’t think that is this day but it still works. 😁
Can you believe March is happening this week? Woah!!

Stripes by the seaside can be worn on the slopeside too right? Bright colours are so fun to wear around the snow- one is surely bound to stand out! 😊
I don’t know what has happened this winter. I’ve done a complete 180- embracing the snow and beauty of all things cozy. I loved shovelling snow and seeing flurries in the air. It’s been rather sad to see it melt away. But soon it’ll be time to find joy with the emerging buds of Spring! ••••••••••••••••••••
Are you ready for Springtime?

A little throwback to my Valentine’s outfit. Argyle, bows, and pink oh my! Notice my vintage pink teardrop earrings- I adore their delicate nature and golden framing. Plus the pink is the perfect hue! 💖
I took the girls out to dinner for Valentines Day and of course dressed up. Rosie asked to wear a dress to dinner because she knew I was going to be a ‘fancy lady’ and she wanted to be like me. 😂😊
Just got back from seeing Peter Rabbit today. It was very cute with plenty of British hilarity but I think I enjoyed Paddington more. Do you have plans to see the movie?

Hi friends!! LONG time, no see! I spent last week in Muskoka, Ontario and had a fantastic time! (You can see the saved story of part of my trip on my profile in the highlights section)
I’ve never taken a winter wonderland holiday and thought why not! Let’s embrace the snow and go ice skating and tubing and try out new winter activities! So I looked at places within my range for a days worth of solo driving and thought why not Canada!? I’ve never driven to a new country and that might be fun to experience plus I haven’t experienced the wonders of Canada since I was a wee child. ••••••••••••••••••••••••••
And can you believe it, I even braved the cold to take outfit photos for you all. 😂 I’m kicking myself that I completely forgot about the hatbox I brought along and stashed in the wardrobe, so I never actually wore this hat out and about but I made sure to document it anyways. 😊 I found this real fur Ushanka hat for a $1 this summer and I knew I’d find use for it somewhere! I’m wearing one of my favourite sweaters from @llbean that I found at a thrift store closeout sale. Along with a maple leaf pin because- Canada ❤️! •••••••••••••••••••••••
Have you taken a winter holiday?

My fingers almost got frostbite trying to take this photo haha. 😁 Sorry lovelies, I took two photos and called it quits. I just can’t do this type of cold. ••••••••••••••••••••••••••
I love this bright pink short-sleeve sweater I picked up @goodwillheart. It never fails to brighten up my day. Paired with my frilly winter white coat, I feel the epitome of femininity! Of course I had to show off my little hanging heart brooch. The back of the brooch says mother and has a little gem. But I much prefer wearing it like this with the ornate back showing. Just a little reminder that you can wear anything the way you’d like- doesn’t mean it’s wrong! 😊
Who’s having good eats tonight for the Super Bowl?? Comment below, I want to eat vicariously through your comments 😉😂😁
