LOW SUGAR DIABETIC JUICE
This makes one small glass of juice or 8-10 ounces.

INGREDIENTS

1 large cucumber

1-2 cups fresh green beans

1/2 apple

1 lemon or lime, peeled

Optional: Add in a handful of leafy greens, like spinach, or a shake of cinnamon

Juice in a juicer and serve.  Unfortunately, this one won't work great in a blender.

You know the saying, "An apple a day keeps the doctor away." There's a reason why I include apples in many of my recipes. 🍎 Apples are rich in folic acid, beta-carotene, Vitamin C, magnesium, calcium, phosphorus, and potassium which cleanse the digestive tract and aid liver function. 🍎 Contain small amounts of B1, B2, B3, biotin and Vitamin E as well. 🍎  Contain flavonoids, which help clear + relax the arteries 🍎 Pectin is also known for removing toxins from the system and decreasing the risk of colon cancer.
🍎 Helps alleviate conditions like arthritis, asthma + rheumatism. 🍎 Studies have even shown apples to increase the brain’s ability to focus and perform better.
Can slow down the aging process and encourage weight loss.

The best time to drink juice is in the morning! On an empty stomach.
Nutrients in juices are quickly absorbed when you drink juice on an empty stomach in the morning. If you’re a coffee drinker, make sure you drink your juice at least an hour before or after your coffee, as the acidity of the coffee will cancel out the juice's alkalizing effects.

It’s best to drink fruit juices in the first half of the day, as it provides the complex carbohydrates that give you energy. Foods with complex carbohydrates convert glucose into energy slowly, giving you a consistent energy supply throughout your day. For the latter half of the day, drink your green vegetable juices or mixed fruit and vegetable juices.

JUICE RECIPE DAY 21: GRAPE GUZZLER 2 cups grapes, any variety, I like red for this one 
1 cucumber 
3 kale leaves 
1 lime, peel on

Cut the cucumber into spears. Juice the grapes, cucumber, kale and lime together.
BLENDER JUICE MODIFICATION

1 cup grapes 
1 cucumber, chopped 
1 cup baby kale 
1 lime, peeled and quartered

Place the grapes, cucumber, kale and lime in your blender. Blend on high until smooth, adding more water if necessary.

JUICE RECIPE DAY 20: FENNEL FUSION

1 fennel bulb, quartered 
4 celery stalks 
2 handfuls spinach 
2 apples, cored

Be sure to wash the fennel well, it tends to have sandy dirt stuck in it. Quarter the fennel and core the apples. Juice the fennel, celery, spinach and apples together.
BLENDER JUICE MODIFICATION

1/2 fennel bulb, chopped 
1 celery stalk, chopped 
1 cup spinach 
1 apple, cored and chopped 
1 cup water

Add the fennel, celery, spinach, apple and water to your blender. Blend on high until smooth, adding more water if necessary.

Good morning! Sweet Crush is a great way to start your day. You may like it and you may not.
JUICE RECIPE DAY 19: SWEET VEG CRUSH

1 sweet potato 
2 apples 
½ cucumber 
handful of parsley

Cut the sweet potato into spears or pieces that will fit in your juicer. Core the apples. Juice the sweet potato, cucumber, apples and parsley together. BLENDER JUICE MODIFICATION

1/2 sweet potato, chopped (cooked or raw) If canned, use about 1/2 - 1 cup. 
1 apple, cored and chopped 
handful of parsley 
1 cup water

The watermelon is one of my favorites for juicing for taste, to reduce 🍉🍉🍉 belly bloating and hydration. Juice the rind!

It's day 18!!! Ready to get green with my PARSLEY PLUSH?

Parsley is so good for you and also detoxes. It will give you energy because it just feeds your blood cells.

DAY 18 JUICE RECIPE: PARSLEY PLUSH

1 pear 
2 cups pineapple chunks 
4 romaine lettuce leaves or half a bunch 
1 cup of parsley

Juice the celery, pears and spinach together. Serve.

BLENDER JUICE MODIFICATION

1 pear, cored and chopped 
1 cup pineapple chunks 
Small handful of parsley 
2 romaine lettuce leaves, chopped 
1 cup water

Add all ingredients to your blender. Blend on high until smooth, adding more water if necessary.

5 celery stalks 
3 firm pears, cored 
1 handful of spinach (about 1-2 cups)

Juice the celery, pears and spinach together. Serve.
