Slowly but surely we are getting LEAN!!🔥💪🏽 Here’s my absolute KILLER HIIT cardio workout from this morning☠️ This workout is seriously no joke.😭 My body is going to hate me tomorrow lol

This is a 2 part workout and if done correctly, should take no more than 30 minutes!! Each section is done TWICE. Here’s a few important pieces of info before you try it out!:
☝🏽The lower body portion of the workout is :45s PER EXERCISE that you see with a :15s REST IN BETWEEN each exercise. (Rest not pictured)

Since my butt is hurting so much from yesterday’s booty workout, I wanted to write a quick post about something I seriously struggle with: STRETCHING!🙆🏽‍♀️

I find stretching so boring and time-consuming😩 I know it’s a super important part of recovery, but I rarely do it.😬 Does anyone else have this issue?? It’s definitely an area where I can improve.

During the summer, I am very diligent with my stretching, and usually spend 15-20 minutes stretching after each workout. And I seriously notice a huge difference in my performance and my level of muscle soreness.🤩 So I know it works!!😅 During the school year though, I find it harder to carve out time to stretch since I go from the gym right to class, so I usually skip it😞

This past Thursday (which is when this pic is from) I had a little bit of extra time after my ab workout, so I did a little stretching!😁 This is one of my favorite stretches for my groin and hip flexors. I have suuper tight hips from volleyball😣 so if you know any good hip flexor stretches, please share ‘em below or in my DMs!!🤗

This is a great workout for building that mind-muscle connection!!🧠💪🏽 I know I talk about this a lot but it is seriously a GAME CHANGER once you can get it down! It really helps you isolate your glutes and grow that booty!🎂

🔥Dumbbell Pulse Squat: 10 reps

🔥Single Leg RDLs: 10 reps/leg
(these can be done with dumbbells as well, but the smith machine really lets you isolate the glutes!)
🔥Dumbbell Sumo Squat: 10 reps
(I normally do these with kettlebells but they only go up to 50lbs at my gym…we getting stronger! using 70lbs here💪🏽)

🔥Cable Kickback: 10 reps/leg
🔥Cable Thigh Abductor: 10 reps/leg

Finisher: [50 reps]☠️
🔥Weighted Frog Thrusts
(using 50lbs here! started at 35lbs my first time doing this exercise)

Since we’re only doing 3 rounds of each superset, push yourselves with a little extra weight in this workout💪🏽 The weighted frog thrusts are the absolute BEST finisher!! Really make my butt wanna fall off☠️ Let me know if you have any questions!🤗

When training shoulders, a super heavy amount of weight is NOT needed🙅🏽‍♀️ It can actually do more harm than good because the muscles of the shoulder are so small. Focus on your form and engaging the muscles rather than going for super heavy PRs.🙂

This is a simple, yet MIGHTY core routine!! I was definitely feeling the burn today😭🔥 All you need for this workout is a pair of SOCKS🧦 and a smooth floor or carpet! You can also use a towel on a smooth floor or pieces of cardboard on carpet!🙂

Luckily, today is a rest day from the gym (even though I have volleyball practice tonight), and I have to say I am SO HAPPY!😌 Yesterday’s leg workout has me so freaking ded!!
