Copenhagen was peaceful, a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of London.

It took us at least half an hour to get to the statue because we couldn't find out how to get through the park. But I think it worked out for the better since when we arrived there, we were rewarded with this gorgeous sunset.

This is the King's Library Tower in the British Library, which is a six-storey glass tower inspired by a similar structure in theĀ Beinecke Library, containing 65,000 printed volumes along with other pamphlets, manuscripts and maps collected by King George III between 1763 and 1820.

TheĀ University of Copenhagen Botanical Garden, usually referred to simply as Copenhagen Botanical Garden, is a botanical gardenĀ located in the centre ofĀ Copenhagen, Denmark. It covers an area of 10Ā hectaresĀ and is particularly noted for its extensive complex of historicalĀ glasshouses dating from 1874.

The Palm House is designed by architect Peter Christian BĆønnecke and is made from cast iron and glass. The inspiration came from Crystal Palace in London, built for the 1852 World Exhibition.

The Hungarian Parliament Building, also known as the Parliament of Budapest after its location, is the seat of the National Assembly of Hungary, a notable landmark of Hungary and a popular tourist destination in Budapest. It lies in Lajos Kossuth Square, on the bank of the Danube.

The Parliament building, a magnificent example of Neo-Gothic architecture (although displaying Renaissance and Baroque characters too), is just over 100 years old.

Guided tours of the Parliament are available when the National Assembly is not in session. The tour takes about 45 minutes, and is well worth the price, as it covers the main entrance stairs and hall, one of the lobbies, the old House of Lords and the Hungarian Crown Jewels.

This was one of my favorite tours cuz the guide was so entertaining. He had a very cheesey, easy listening radio vibe to him.

Basic AF. And yes, I couldn't decide which one I like better.

A quiet moment next to a bustling bookstore. The bookstore is Instagram famous so it was crawling with people with selfie sticks eager to take photos in front of it because there are no photos allowed inside.

This is the entrance to the spa at the hotel. I was super impressed with this place. Gorgeous and the attention to detail was amazing. Definitely recommend a wander through here.

They have specific times that are open to the public so even if you aren't staying at the hotel, you can still visit.
