It's been a little while since I've voiced my dislike for the scale, so I thought today would be that day lol.. πŸ‘Š

To all those girls who have just started out with bbg and even girls that are using other programs, THE SCALES LIE!πŸ™

I'm sorry, I know that growing up (if you're in your 30's or more), it was kind of custom to use the scales as a guide for how you were tracking in the weight loss and health department BUT...... ➑️ NEWSFLASH = IT WAS ALL BULLSHIT!!! πŸ™„πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

Yes, I know can you believe it? I mean, can you believe that the health and fitness industry both lied to us? πŸ€”πŸ™„

Today, the message is slowly getting out about the scale (or shit step as I like to call it), but there are still too many people caught up in its powers. 😈

The scales have more power than you think. I'm sure we've all been in the situation of waking up, hopping out of bed and thinking how great today is going to be, how good you're feeling, like you can conquer the world.πŸ™ŒπŸ™ŒπŸ‘ŠπŸ’ͺ . .
Then you go and have a shower and jump on the scale (cause who weighs themselves fully clothed anywayπŸ˜‚) and bam, it's telling you a number you didn't expect. A number you didn't want to see and all of a sudden your day is ruined, you feel fat, why are you even bothering exercising, nothing is working, you may as well just give up and eat chocolate for the rest of your life.... Am I right, or am I right? πŸ€·β€β™€οΈπŸ˜

You unintentionally gave that stupid little machine that sits in your bathroom, pretending it cares about you have control over the way you feel about yourself and your body. That sneaky little biatch has just wrecked your day!πŸ˜• . .

Yes measurements. Measurements never lie and are more accurate and kinder than the scale. When I first started bbg I took measurements and weighed myself. ☺️

Hello girls, I know I know it's been a month. I'm sooooo sorry... BUT I promise I have still been working out majority of the time. πŸ’ͺπŸ‘Š

I just didn't feel like I was in the right frame of mind to post stuff. Have you ever felt slightly fake at times, like you're trying to be someone that you're not at that point in time? Well, that was me last month. πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–

July and August have not been kind to me this year. Lots of hurdles and life lessons that have literally blown me away, but essentially could very well have been avoided if I was as good at taking my own advice as I am at giving it lol... 😐

But never mind, onwards and upwards. I will be posting more and getting back into bbg again very soon. Just in the process of moving back to the Gold Coast over the next couple of weeks though and settling in to my routine again so I can get my life back on track!! 😘😘

Week 27 and 2 LISS sessions ticked off so far! βœ”οΈβœ”οΈ

It's been 5 days now since my bursa cortisone injection in my shoulder and today it was niggly and a tad achey πŸ˜•

Has anyone had bursitis before? What did you do, how long did you rest etc... . .
I hate sitting still and not exercising properly, but at the same time I definitely don't want to do any more harm than I already have. 😣😣

I need to get one of my resistance sessions ticked off tomorrow morning, but I've been delaying it cause I'm scared it'll hurt my shoulder. Whatever I end up doing, hopefully I can modify it so my shoulder isn't under any strain.. 😐

Crossing my fingers that it won't be too long before I'm back to 100% and injury free πŸ€žπŸ™Œ

It's all about balance. That's why I love this program so much. Because I know it's just 2% of my day and then I'm done and can carry on doing that thing called life. ✌️

It's an effing hard 2% some days (cheers @kayla_itsines 😘 lol), but once it's done, I feel a sense of accomplishment. I know I've worked my arse off and I can face the day feeling empowered and energised πŸ’ͺ

Tomorrow I've got week 26 abs, so I'll be getting it out of the way first thing in the morning and then heading to the radiology centre at lunch time. 😐

I've been struggling since October last year with a niggly shoulder pain and have just been putting up with it (I know, slap slap).. Turns out I have bursitis in my left shoulder, so now I have to get a nasty cortisone injection tomorrow arve 😭😭

Haven't ever had anything like this before so I'm definitely not looking forward to it. But, it has to be done and I'll have to improvise with my training for a week or two in the meantime, until I've given it a decent amount of rest.. πŸ˜•
