The last 60 hours have been a whirlwind of emotion. Nothing can be said to bring back those 22 beautiful souls we lost Monday in Manchester. My heart aches for all those affected. This world is a scary place but we cannot live in fear. We WILL NOT live in fear. One of the most beautiful things is seeing people come together to support and help each other in this heartbreaking time. The way the Manchester community came together that night was incredible. The quick response team, the hotels who opened their doors for free, the neighbors who opened their homes and all the civilians offering rides to anyone who was lost or needed transportation; a community, a strong community. Their courage shined through and gave us all hope. To the families and friends of all the victims - my heart goes out to you, we are praying for you. You are not forgotten. Terrorism will not strip us from this beautiful life; this beautiful life of joy and love. I will honor each victim by living life the most free because that is exactly what they don’t want. I pray for healing and peace for anyone who feels uneasy as well as prayers to all those in the Marawi, Syria, Bangkok and all over the world. Love will always triumph over evil! They will not win.
Rest easy beautiful souls
