When you go from waking up and feeling absolutely miserable to taking shirtless selfies at the gym lol... But jokes aside, I cannot stress enough how important a lifestyle of regular workouts/exercise + vitamins & supplements is when your day to day life is easily impacted by depression, anxiety, ADHD, low energy, seasons. Medication has never been a suited option for me so my whole life has been a journey of finding what type of natural regimen can keep my brain as healthy as possible but also to learn how to embrace how my brain works and put its unique patterns to use and to my advantage. When you run your own business, having an off day isn't really an option, calling sick to work even less so. I don't think I've called in sick once in my whole 6 years of doing photography full time. You just gotta roll with it.. and cross your fingers that you will be able to perform your best and that whatever you are going through will not affect others on the job or the end result. Being responsible & reliable is 90% of this business. I don't often if ever talk about personal things on instagram.. I feel like I've been there and done that in my teens and often your thoughts and feelings can be misinterpreted.. But I think it's important to let others know and remind everyone that we are all going through something different and that, in my opinion, there's always a solution to find your own version of happiness.
