Tons to look forward to in 2019, including moving to @instagram full time. It's a dream job that I've prepared my entire career for. We've got lots of fun things coming up that I can't wait to share with you all. Hope your 2018 was incredible and your 2019 is even better. - #newyearnewme#justkidding#newyearsameme
Spent the week officially beginning to wind down my work with team Southeast Asia. I'm so grateful for this amazing crew and all they've taught me. Can't wait to see what you all do next. - P.S. let's not hire a bad joke teller to replace me because that's sort of my thing
A couple of weeks ago I had the privilege of speaking at Digicon. My topic was the Rise of Stories (on Instagram, Facebook and Messenger). It especially resonated to present back home because the Philippines is one of the top countries in the world for Stories adoption. Instead of my usual corny jokes, I ended with one of my favorite Maya Angelou quotes - 'there is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you’ - So please keep using Stories and let me know if you have any creative product ideas that I can steal and pass off as my own 😈 . (Special thanks to @loyalstricklin and @polilya.mnl for letting me show your cool Instagram posts)
While I always sort of hoped I'd make it into the New York Times one day, I never thought it would be for this. The anguish in my face is au natural. If you're in Singapore make sure to check out @barre2barresg, the studio of my dear business school friend @jessicaxfelicia
Joined our Vietnam team alongside the country's top influencers and marketers to talk about everything Instagram. The Vietnamese phrases I practiced failed spectacularly but luckily @chjchj had my back!
