I've learned something in the past few weeks.
Death is something that shouldn't be feared. All it is is a transfer from this earthly life into another. Yes, you will miss the person a lot. It is okay to grieve them.
There's this phrase that everyone knows: "The best medicine is laughter". I only recently genuinely realized that it was true.
In the passing of my grandmother (who I was close too), we had to fly back home to Belize for the funeral and such. When I got there, we started to try to cheer each other up and just have fun together. We took a sad time and turned it into something a bit more happy.
All I'm saying is, appreciate loved ones, cause they won't always be there. And don't be afraid to laugh a little when the situation isn't happy.
I love you Ma, you've always been a light in my life ❤
