Let me just put this in perspective. I’ve known this guy since back when I used to ditch high school and ride my bike to 24 hour fitness with the sole intention of catching bishop while he was free Inbetween clients..... and then of course I had to do the whole *ask the huge ripped black guy 1000 questions between his sets thing* lmaoooo
.

It went something like this:

Akaash - “what’s up bro.”

Bishop - “yoooo.”
.
Akaash - “Do those workout your triceps?”
.
Bishop (currently doing behind the back shrugs) - “Naw bro...hits ur traps.”
.
Akaash - “ahhh ok thanks man. Have a good workout!”
.
Bishop (likely to be his mental thoughts) - “did he really just ask me if these shrugs hit triceps...this is what I get for coming to 24 fitness.”

Bishop has done so much for me and played so many different roles in my life... everything from being one of my first coaches/trainers, to becoming teammates, friends, business partners, and now A1 since day 1 bodybuilding bros for life. Stay swole big homie 💯❤️

Here’s to a very memorable time where I achieved something new for myself and no I’m not referring to my conditioning ..... I’m well aware it’s at “acceptable” at best.
.
.
BUT it’s how I got to this conditioning that matter to me most! I began to strategically eat more and more food from a higher bodyfat type of state. It was an “instinctual” clean eating carb cycle type of situation that revolves strictly around my body’s needs and outputs of energy (i.e. cardio and training timing/frequency relative to over all energy from sleep, work, and nutrition).

When you properly manipulate these variables respective to your specific body and environmental conditions u end up doing some great things at a fast pace with your physique!!

I BELIEVE this approach to dieting is superior to the designed standard meal plan.
DISCLAIMER: This kind of stuff works best if u are intermediate and above with diet/training. There is a level of learned intuitiveness required to do this right (just saying ...u might be a savage but I’m talking to the majority)

When I train legs i make them my bitch for an hr.... then for the next two days they make me theirs 😭😭😭

REAL QUICK SIDE NOTE:

Those of you who do not like the extreme soreness after leg days you can change this by increasing your leg training frequency. At one point I was hitting legs 3 times per week (many variations of course) but literally there was zero to NO soreness the day after. Also this style let’s u hit way more angles therefore developing way more shape.

I got this app called “shoe box” and it shows me what pics I took this day 1 year ago. It’s pretty kool! Reminds you of your past and gives a great opportunity to reflect.

In each clip I was a completely different person, thinking different thoughts, having different problems, different goals, different experiences.
.
But no mater what happens U can always catch me in the gym 💯

Happy #NewYearsEve everyone! Here’s some helpful tips I used to stay lean during the holidays last yr. (this yr I ate to much so I’m gunna use old pics lol)
.
Tip 1: If you are going to eat bad do it at the end of the day because eating sugar at the start of day will leave u battling cravings the rest of the day.
.
Tip 2: Don’t have Back to back cheat days/meals. Space them out by at least a day if not 2 of clean eating to prevent excess fat storage.
.
Tip 3: Eat a very conservative fat/carb intake leading up to your holiday cheat meal don’t starve yourself or u’ll end up binge eating on the bad food.
.
Tip 5: Really take time to think on the other upcoming events/family gatherings that are more meaningful to u than the random New Years potluck at work with all goodies that will suck up your holiday calories (IMPORTANT).
.

So I want to emphasize the level of #OBSESSION I had in my younger yrs. In the picture to the left I was a sophomore in high school and had already been about 1 n 1/2 yrs deep in the gym. My schedule was as follows...
7am - wake up
8am - weight training period at my school (which I vigorously fought my counselor for)
9am-130pm - normal school classes n lunch
1:145-2:45 - football leadership class A.K.A circuit training (the coaches way of squeezing in extra weight training time for us)
4pm-5pm - football weight training with the team
5pm-645 - full padded practice on the field with the team (hella cardio).
7pm - go home eat n take preworkout
730-9pm - go to 24 hr fitness for my bodybuilding style workout.
REST N REPEAT
Side note: this was probably an unhealthy obsession and had i not been a teenager in high school there would be no way to train this much during the normal affairs of life. But still wanted to share my story of how I built my body to way it is now at such a young age 😇
Oh n also no drugs were involved in high school in case some of y’all were wondering lol

Here’s some of the stuff I do to make sure I’m on point when I leave the house:
- Never go more than 2 days without lining up the beard.
- Make sure no matter what the outfit is there is coordination with colors. (Don’t be wearing red shoes, with black shorts, a brown shirt, n a green hat 😭).
- Light jewelry is always a plus (I’m always rocking a metal bracelet cuz sometimes a watch is over dressy).
- Cologne of your choice (perfume for girls).
- Making sure I don’t got no unibrow action goin on lol.

#FlexFriday Had me a bloated #Pump after all that #ThanksGiving food. Who else feels like a Rolly Polly today 😭😭😭. Swipe all the way to right to see the abdominal damage haha. It’s crazy wat a day or 2 of binge eating can do. SIDE NOTE: I love how none of my clients sent Check in photos this morning 🤣

Just want to put #Conditioning in perspective by posting what some would say is what #Shredded looks like...no no no far from it. In the bodybuilding world you could say I’m lean here but in reality I’m 5-8lbs away from being truly shredded (which is a lot of weight when your already under 8% bodyfat. - -
Moral of the story: Don’t think ur ready until u can no longer pinch skin on ur booty cheeks 🤣 I get lots of DM’s from people inquiring about dieting help saying that they tried everything and can’t get shredded. -
You must suffer my friends 😈

#MotivationMonday Practice makes perfect! I'm super pumped in this pic but all I did was an hr of posing and maaaan I was super fatigued. If u do it right posing sessions are like cardio. I can't tell u how many dope physiques I've seen on stage that didn't get their posing down. It's like meeting a really attractive girl/guy and they all shy n can't hold a convo while you in your head like "...why 🤔" #Analogies #ALFAESTHETICS #TeamNJFF

Ever notice when you think vividly of a time when u were really angry u start to feel that exact anger in the present moment or if u think of some very sad times u may start to cry...the opposite can be done with happy moments and sometimes we forget about that. So when I'm sad or depressed one of the things I learned to do is play a movie in my head of a time in my life when I felt on top of the world. One instance that comes to mind is when I was prepping for Vegas in 2016 I was so productive I didn't have time to be sad. I was doing an hr of cardio a day, meal prepping my food, training 90 mins a day, working 2 full time jobs back to back as a server, keeping up with my online clients, finishing about 2 audio books a month while still managing to keep it lit 😁. Every time I relive those moments it makes me smile. Happy Tuesday everyone 😇 #StaySmiling

Very happy how my shape has come along these last couple yrs of bodybuilding. BY NO MEANS do I have a top caliber physique yet... but I swear back in the day when I was first starting out relentlessly in the gym even after the 4-5 yr mark I never thought my body could come this far.
