Another day, another nice cream 😊 this one was on top of a beetroot acai smoothie.

Happiness is fresh baked pita with pulled pork, slaw and tzatziki πŸ™ŒπŸ˜œ inspired by the pulled pork po boy's at @themoldyfig which I love ❀️ I just stuck with a bread I knew how to bake...

Vanilla custard and mango parfaits with morello cherry syrup and leftover Christmas biscuits! I absolutely love these little bowls (glasses?) my parents got me for Christmas, I'll be using them more often hopefully 😁❀️

So I was a genius in a past life and froze a shit tonne of cookie dough. Past me deserves thanks. Present me will be found microwaving ramekins of cookie dough daily πŸ˜‰

So I've gotten into this habit of reading through bigoted comments on Facebook posts and I usually end up feeling like this afterwards. Just one big sigh.
I read a really interesting article saying that we base human relationships on our dislikes, you hear people talking about the things they hate more than the things they love. Even something as simple as 'what do you want on your pizza?' is likely to get a response of 'none of this' rather than 'plenty of that'. After I read it I started to notice it everywhere. I think it's really interesting but also kind of sad. (I would link the article here if I remembered where it was, sorry!) So let's start with something I like. I like when people use solid logic to destroy bigoted Facebook posts πŸ˜ŠπŸ™Œ

Hummus by name, hummus by nature... πŸ˜‰ with home grown cucumber as well 😊

Today I join the nice cream bandwagon and lord, it's a good place to be πŸ™Œ I feel like bringing this to @vanelja and @ellencharlottemarie 's #dreambrekkieparty as well because who doesn't want raspberry ice cream for breakfast?! Here with coconut milk Chia pudding and a dollop of my apricot jam from yesterday. This would be a dream breakfast I'd share with all my vegan mates so we can all enjoy something good πŸ™ŒπŸ˜πŸ˜‹

So this year, on top of baking more, I want to take my writing more seriously by writing daily and doing something with whatever hits the page. So here is a snippet from my rambling mind and my daily writing, let me know what you think ❀️😊
