Friends! We love our @jackeryusa explorer 240 so much and it's saved us in so many off grid situations that we have teamed up with our friends at @jackeryusa to giveaway one of these amazing little power stations(explorer 240) to one lucky winner.
You'll never have to be without power when off grid again, from lighting up your tent, charging your phones, cameras, drones, to making off grid smoothies you will be set. We even used ours on road trips!
Trust me you want one! It's great for beach hangs, camping trips, photoshoots, off grid homeschool, road trips, power outages and so much more! **Giveaway rules:
- MUST BE FOLLOWING @adventuresoffour and @jackeryusa - TAG THREE FRIENDS IN THE COMMENTS AND TELL US WHY YOU ARE THANKFUL FOR THE OUTDOORS! -FOR EXTRA ENTRIES SHARE IN YOUR STORIES! MAKE SURE TO TAG US SO WE SEE IT!
Giveaway winner will be chosen randomly and announced live on Thanksgiving day.
Good luck friends!!!

so ready for a weekend full of adventures with these fellas.
what are your weekend plans?
tomorrow we are launching a pretty rad give away. check back tomorrow night around 10 pm mountain time to enter.

camp meals are always my favorite. i think food always taste better when cooked outside with the people/furry friends you love.
this time we gave the all american veggie @bocaburger a try and it did not disappoint. so glad for all these non meat options.
have you tried them, if so what's your favorite way to enjoy them? share it in the comments using #myoriginalboca
don't worry we fed willie his food.

there is no where i would want to explore without him.

this picture perfectly describes eli at age five.
he'd rather be in his under-roos. pants are overrated in his mind.
always has his three friends zee zee, zey zey, and foxy by his side.
and would much rather sleep in the tent than his bed.
probably why we've slept in our tent over fifty nights in 2018 so far.
he's pretty darn rad.

last minute trips to the desert with these three fellas are always my favorite.
and we all know last minute trips always require a stop @rei to grab all the gear you forgot as you were rushing out the door. things we forgot: comfy cozy beanies, eli's hiking shoes, and willie's leash. thanks for having our back @rei and always having whatever we need to make our adventures happen!

first snowy hike of the season wouldn't have been complete without a snowball fight.
have you gotten snow where you are yet?

it's friday!!! and we are so ready for a weekend spent on the trails!
what fun plans do you have? what ever they are we hope you have a great time!

sharing the trails with him is my favorite. especially our trail talks. this fella can talk... for miles and miles.

we close the door behind us and rush to the truck throwing our packs in double checking that we have everything. we drive off in silence and as soon we spot the snow covered peaks. you hear a sigh of relief from us all. our feet hit the trails and although are backs are carrying thirty pound packs we feel lighter...so much lighter.
these trails are where we become the best versions of ourselves. where we learn we are capable of hard things and that together we can conquer any trail (or problem) life throws at us. these trails are home.

we no longer have to search for trails with low mileage or little elevation gain, they don't need to be rated easy to moderate. this wild fella will happily hike thirteen plus miles without a complaint, he takes less breaks than i do while climbing elevation, he tackles trails rated strenuous, and breezes through trails with a class a three climb rating. where did my baby go, the little fella who begged for shoulder rides and snack breaks every few feet? i kind of miss those days. but i am so excited for the adventures and memories to come.
he wants top his longest hike before winter is in full affect. think he can beat thirteen miles, I'm not so sure but excited to find out.

sometimes eli kicks me out of the tent and tells me to go hang out with willie "so just the fellas can hang out." and i don't even mind because i can hear them joking and laughing and it's the sweetest thing to witness. they sure have a special bond.
unrelated: it's calling for snow next week! and we are super stoked! are you guys ready for winter?
