Beauty is not long hair, skinny legs, tanned skin or perfect teeth. Believe me. Beauty is the face of who cried and now smiles, beauty is the scar on your knee since you fell when you were a kid, beauty is the circles when love doesn’t let you sleep, beauty is the expression on the face when the alarm rings in the morning, it’s the melted makeup when you have a shower, it’s the laughter when you make a joke you’re the only one who can understand, beauty is meeting his gaze and stopping understanding, beauty is your gaze when you see him, it’s when you cry for all you paranoias, beauty is the lines marked by time. Beauty is what we feel in the inside which also shows outside us. Beauty is the marks the life leaves on us, all the kicks and the caresses the memories leave us. Beauty is letting yourself live. #emmawatson #hongkong #tbt

❣️ Take a morning shower filled with loud and upbeat music. ❣️Surround myself with positive people. ❣️Stop degrading myself based on how others look, I’m beautiful in my own way. ❣️ Allow myself to be sad when I feel it, it’ll be okay, the sun will return soon. ❣️ Laugh. A lot. ❣️Take bubble baths to calming music. ❣️ Read. ❣️ Open the windows and let the air in....🧡

I wish that photographs were physical spaces, like tunnels; that you could crawl inside them and go back...🧡

Oh my God, what if you wake up some day, and you’re 65, or 75, and you never got your memoir or novel written; or you didn’t go swimming in warm pools and oceans all those years because your thighs were jiggly and you had a nice big comfortable tummy; or you were just so strung out on perfectionism and people-pleasing that you forgot to have a big juicy creative life, of imagination and radical silliness and staring off into space like when you were a kid? It’s going to break your heart. Don’t let this happen.

So what if you’re not a complete master at something. It doesn’t matter if there are others that are better than you. The most important thing is that you give the very best that you can give.

Silently, one by one, in the infinite meadows of heaven,
Blossomed the lovely stars, the forget-me-nots of the angels...🧡 @foxswimwear

Just watched “The Cove” movie and it has filled my heart with sadness, anger, disbelief, and ultimately lit a fire within me to do my part to stop the senseless and unnecessary killing of dolphins and keeping them in captivity for people’s attraction. Dolphins are truly beautiful animals, and watching them is mesmerizing. So today I wanna talk about Dolphins in captivity, I can’t say that I have never been in a dolphinarium, sadly… 😞I’ve been once when I was a child and my mom’s friends took me there. For sure when I was a kid I coulnd’t even imagine how bad it was dolphins and how unhappy they must have been even tho they were looking smily and happy, but People should not be misled by a dolphin's 'smile'. Most dolphins just happen to have a natural upward curve of their mouth and look as if they're smiling, and they just can't change it like how we humans can to express our emotions. Even when their mouths are smiling, their hearts could be breaking inside because these are dolphins kept in captivity and restricted from their natural habitat they prefer. Dolphins are incredibly intelligent. They have unique voices and communicate with each other frequently. Dolphins navigate by echolocation—bouncing sonar waves off other objects to determine their shape, density, distance, and location—but in tanks, the reverberations from their own sonar bounce off the walls, driving some dolphins insane. Wild dolphins can swim 40 to 100 miles per day – in pools they go around in circles. Many marine parks subject their mammals to hunger so they will perform for their food. Jumping through hoops, tail-walking and playing ball are trained behaviors that do not occur in the wild. Dolphins don’t perform for the love of performing or because they want to please humans – they perform because they are hungry. The dolphins you see at marine parks were probably captured in the wild. They were taken from their families, to whom they were undoubtedly very strongly attached. Their strong bonds have been documented to lead them to stay with injured or ill individuals, even actively helping them to breathe by bringing them to the surface if needed.
