Bonsai art to celebrate Chinese New Year.

One of the few remaining staircases originally used by amahs (at the back of the house) in the old days of Hong Kong. The handrail is newly added.

Original tilework is also preserved. You can find this at v54, a French, Art Deco style architectural gem built in 1925, and is listed as a Grade III Historic Building. It now runs a year-long young artist-in-residence project.

Focusing on city areas under urban renewal projects, Hong Kong photographer Dustin Shum combined digitally manipulated black & white images with the use of cheap VR headsets to recreate 3D spaces that do not and/or no longer belong to the neighbourhoods. Exhibition runs till Jan 7.
