🇨🇦 Aaron Macrae  📍Somewhere in North America 🚐 Van Life 👇 🏔@therollingvan 🏔

Feeling blessed I scored an independent study and provided the opportunity to design and build this place I now get to call home. It was a hell of a process that @mchick16 and I highly underestimated. Was a month overdue with handing it in. But it's all over now and I'm so excited to call where've I choose to park this thing home. #vanlife. Follow our joint account @therollingvan

For those of you who don't know yet... @mchick16 and I bought a van and are converting into a camper to travel North America for the next year! Follow our journey on our new account @therollingvan. We will be posting more once we hit the road in a weeks time!

Within minutes of arriving I knew this how I want to live in the future. Can't wait to build myself one of these one day!

The best remedy of a hectic city life is to escape to the outdoors. We had an epic weekend of hiking in the mountains, off the grid living and campfires. Just the way I like it. More photos to come..

When the canyon got crowded with tourists we ventured off the beaten path to the untouched canyon floor. Only then we felt like we were back in the wild.

Looking back to one of my most enjoyable winter days off the mountain and exploring on foot.
Fingers crossed winter holds on for a little longer...

New year, new me!

One semester left of school has me stoked on idea of transferring my status as a full time student to full time traveler!
Watching the sun set over the sea to sky in beautiful BC a few months back.

A couple weekends back climbing in Vermont.

Started out our first true backcountry hike in Gros Morne with a boat ride to the back of the Western Brooke Pond. Got dropped off in pouring rain, trying to navigate our way to the top with a GPS we've never used, our rain suits bassically ripped to shreds.. it was a struggle to say the least. Soaked and drained of energy we reached the top of the fjord just in time for the clouds break long enough to get this shot. Spectacular view to say the least! Gros Morne National Park, Newfoundland.

First sunrise of North America. Cape Spear, Newfoundland.

Cutting it close to high tide while rock climbing in Newfoundland. Decided it was time to pack up and go. Climbing with the North Atlantic Ocean behind you is an awesome experience! Flatrock, Newfoundland.
