Making pizzelles for Grammy’s memorial tomorrow. I would make them with her every Christmas. My job was to cut off all the excess and make them look pretty, which basically just meant eating as many scraps as possible. Liam seems to get the idea. #liamphenix#lovemygrammy
My Grammy passed away this morning. She was such an integral part of my life it almost doesn’t feel like she’s gone. She taught me how to roll strawberries in sugar (bc they’re not sweet enough on their own) and how to make pizzelles. She made the best spaghetti and meatballs the world has ever know. I loved swimming in her condo pool and searching for June bugs in her fountain. I loved her so much and will continue to. Enjoy Jesus Grammy, I’ll see you soon.
Gabriel Keanu Waidley arrived today on the tail winds of a cool Los Angeles breeze (Keanu) that brought us to the hospital. God gave me the name Gabriel and impressed upon me that he would bring assurance to those around him with his words and presence. “I am Gabriel. I stand in the presence of God, and I have been sent to speak to you and to tell you this good news.” We love him and Liam will get there. #gabrielkeanu
Thanks to @eyeleandover I google image searched my name and found this sweet photo a journalist took of #liamphenix and I one Sunday in San Francisco. I’m not sure why, but this picture seems to sum up so much of my 7 years in SF in one shot.
