I get it, sometimes times are hard and eating healthy can be expensive! There are still ways to get some of the nutrients you need to supplement an active lifestyle. When I eat ramen noodles I either mix in or stir fry an egg or 2 into it to get the protein I need for my workouts! Make sure you drink lots of water though to flush out all the extra sodium πŸ˜… Another great option is the shakes we drink ever morning. They replace a meal and it comes to end up being an estimated $2 or so meal. #foodforthought #coachcurt #coachceals #healthyliving #cheapeats

Taught my PK Conditioning class at the gym today and I always try to do the workout with my students. I want to try to help motivate them by showing I can do it as well and I struggle just like they do.
The cardio always kills me πŸ˜‚
Here is the workout:
- Warm-up
- 30 sec. Rotating till 9 min.
high knees, jumping jacks, butt kicks, suicide drills.
- 1.5 min. Skii Jumps x2
- 1.5 min. Tic tac laps x2
- 2 min. Climb ups
- 2 min. Dips
- 2 min. Bar hold (pictured)
- 2 min. Sit-ups/ bar sit-ups
- 2 min. Box jumps
- 2 min. High skii jumps
- 2 min. Wall sit
- 2 min. Box push
- 2 min. Air squats/ jump squats
- cool down

This is part of my motivation! The first pic is where I am at right now. Slightly toned but needs a lot of work. The second is where I was a year and a half ago, 6% body fat, toned and stronger. With all the creative workouts I've been doing and especially my parkour having energy some days is hard. I've always struggled from an energy problem anyway so it can even harder but having a great pre-workout has helped me so much! I grew up playing music through school and always found it to be a great outlet and fun way to express myself. I tried picking up the guitar a few months ago and have been trying to learn some chords since. So today's workout, as promised, was a bar workout. I focused on negatives which is trying slow down and even stop the second half of the exercise. Ive never done many negatives in my workouts so this was fairly new to me. I had to quit after my first set because of pain in my right forearm so next time I hope to finish it!
