The archeological zones of Xpujil, Becรกn, and especially Calakmul are so worth visiting.

Getting there early is a huge +
Seen no people, fresh air, wild animals and not a super hot weather.
Early hours are perfect for climbing, exploring and staying there for much longer.

Cenote is a natural pit or sinkhole, resulting from the collapse of limestone bedrock that exposes groundwater underneath. They are a must see when you are in Mexico.
....
....
There are over 6000 cenotes in Yucatรกn. But only around 2400 of them are studied and registered.
....
....
The cenote you can see on the pictures is not very popular but I still think itโ€™s worth to visit. The entrance costs only 50 pesos (around 2,5โ‚ฌ) per person. Itโ€™s located close to other two nice cenotes, in Valladolid.
....
....
The most popular and beautiful ones are usually very crowded (especially on the weekends) but itโ€™s possible to reach them empty, without any people. You just have to get up early and get to the one you want to visit at the gate opening. Usually they open the cenotes at 8 am. Sounds horrible but itโ€™s really worth it! ๐Ÿ˜Š๐ŸŒบ๐ŸŒฟ

Beautiful little creatures - Coatis! ๐Ÿงก
I wish I could stay there with them for days ๐Ÿ™ˆ
....
....
Very intelligent, curious and amazingly fascinating part of wildlife in Mexico. The same family as raccoons. This creature is easily identifiable by its long, thin tail with starkly defined rings. Theyโ€™re often seen with their tail held up into the air, a tactic they use to easily keep groups (of 10 to 30) of coatis together in tall vegetation.
....
....
The ones you see on the photo were very friendly - we fed them with coconuts, yum ๐Ÿฅฅ๐Ÿ˜
