I was at this location three days in a row. The first day I ended up soaking wet in pouring rain. On day two I had to tie my camera to a massive rock because of super strong winds and I also took this picture while I was witnessing the rad colors in the sky. The third day was my favorite though. Actually I was pretty happy with this shot already, but I wanted to get a different angle. So again, I was hiking around for a while, looking for a better composition. But fog came in and I decided to call it a day, walked back to the trail and somehow intuitively looked up to the sky and saw a huge golden eagle right above my head. It was so close and impressive, I almost got scared and for a moment I was just stunned by it's majestic beauty. I watched it fly in circles and then eventually disappear in the fog over the lake. That was just epic and a moment to remember!

Thanks for the love on my last post!! ❀️
So here's the milky way over the Tre Cime di Lavaredo. ✨
As we arrived at this spot we found out that there was a hut right next to it, but we'd rather hike 1.5 hours back to a lower hut and back up after 3 hours of sleep. This saved us 5 Euros AND made our legs stronger - BOOOM!! πŸ€˜πŸ€“

Some years ago I went summer skiing and on one of my first runs I was on the lift with @emk_mtn. We immediately became friends and skied and filmed together before he went back home to the UK. We couldn't share our passion for the mountains for too long because skiing gave us both a hard time with injuries. Life is an up and down and we finally managed to spontaneously meet up again this month in the Dolomites. It's a great feeling, seeing people after a long period of time and we're both still addicted to the mountains with or without skiing. Although it rained a lot, we got to see the beautiful landscapes and did some cool hikes to get closer to the stunning spiky peaks you can find everywhere in this area. I took the picture on the first clear morning after the storm, near the Groedner Joch. Thanks to all the rain, the air was so clear and I was just blown away by my surroundings as the sun rose. Next post is going to be about the famous Tre Cime. I'm having a star trails and milky way shot ready of them. So if you really read this caption to the end, then vote in the comments for either "light trails" or "milky way" and decide what you want to see next βœ¨πŸ˜ŠπŸ’«πŸŒŒ

Fridaaay!! Enjoy your weekend and do rad things!πŸ€˜πŸ˜„βœ¨

Look it's a long exposure drone shot. Wonder how I keep my drone still for 15 minutes? πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

The two days I've been in Zermatt with @nattymomentsphotography, I've never seen the peak of the Matterhorn. So I plan to go back.
There's another cool place close by where I wanna go, but I need somebody with mountaineering experience to join me, for traversing glaciers and stuff πŸ˜„. I'll take cool pictures of you in exchange for being my guide πŸ˜…πŸ˜‡βœ¨ Who's in?

We are all responsible for what happens to Mother Earth. But little things can make a big difference. Like not throwing trash into the lake. It's a good thing that photographers are that strong to carry the extra weight of the trash from the shore and take it where it belongs. This makes the fish happy. I know. I saw them smile. Lumix GH5 and Lumix 12mm f/1.4 - with @vanlifejam and @lumix_ch
@vanlifejam brought his home for a photoshooting at the Sustenpass last Friday. We met up after work and I knew two places that would be perfect for our picture, but obviously there was construction ongoing at both of the places. So we explored the surroundings and after 17 phone calls we finally got this shot.

I used to be afraid of heights, but I loved the mountains too much -
Had to climb down to this cliff for a quick selfie while @vanlifejam was waiting forever for me to find a composition for our vanlife shot. Good thing he brought his home where he could pass the time. Stay tuned and find out if we finally got the shot πŸ˜„πŸ˜Š

Good news. I Just became a member of @earthsnap_official, a young group of swiss photographers who contribute their work for nature preservation. Check it out if you're interested in what it's all about.
Shot this picture of my home on one of the many hikes I did lately with @debi.emily
