27 of Prince Charles' secret memos, written in 2004 and 2005, have been released today following a decade-long legal battle. The letters reveal the Prince's concerns and demands addressed to Tony Blair and several high profile figures in his Labour government. The subjects of the memos range from badger culling to the dominance of supermarkets. One letter involves Charles questioning the ability of the armed forces to fulfil their campaign in Iraq "without the necessary resources". The controversy arises over the question of whether the Prince was meddling or genuinely concerned over the issues he raised. [Photo credit: The Guardian]
