My parents, born in 48' and 60' instilled an undeniable love for soul music in me. When I was growing up... this is the music that flooded my house. Real music. Classic, Timeless, soul music..... But I'm not going to be a hypocrite and say I don't have my days where I listen to Lil Uzi, Cardi B or Lil Yachty in the car or at the gym but soul music has and always will have my heart.
I took music appreciation in college. Music is a HUGE part of my life. It's something that just gets inside you and grips you. Getting lost in a melody, having lyrics give you the chills.... there's truly nothing like it. We've all felt it.
I have an unbelievably extensive music collection(which is something I actually got bullied over all through school but that’s another story).... from Metallica to 2Pac to Fleetwood Mac to Stevie Wonder to Roy Orbison to Alice In Chains to Amy Winehouse to Project Pat to Rob Zombie. Music will always be my first and number one love! It's in my veins. Every genre.
